The subject matter described herein relates generally to compositions and formulations and methods of use of combinations of pyroglutamic acid and a strobilurin fungicide for improving plant growth, health and yields, and for protecting plants against selected stress conditions.

Embodiments of the present invention relate to solvents for agricultural applications and pesticide formulations. In one aspect, a solvent for agricultural applications comprises (a) a first component consisting of a polar solvent wherein the polar solvent is a sulfoxide, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, γ-butyrolactone, or a combination thereof; (b) a second component consisting of a glycol ether, and (c) a third component consisting of an ether ester of Formula 1: ##STR00001##
wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each independently one of an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an aryl group, wherein R.sup.3 is hydrogen, methyl, or ethyl, and wherein n is 1 to 6.

5-fluoro-4-imino-3-methyl-1-tosyl-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-one, and at least one fungicide to provide synergistic control of selected fungi wherein the at least one fungicide is a multi-site inhibitor or a strobilurin inhibitor.

A liquid soluble concentrate (SL) composition is provided, the composition comprising: i) an oxime carbamate; and ii) a liquid carrier, the liquid carrier comprising a solvent system comprising an alcohol, a carbonate ester and water. A method of treating pests using the composition is also provided.

Disclosed herein are fungicidal combinations comprising at least one SDHI fungicide and at least two systemic fungicides and compositions comprising said combinations. Also provided is a method of controlling fungal diseases with said combinations.
