LOW WATER HAMMER BREAK CHECK VALVE
A valve closure device for a check valve can include a first valve member configured to rotate from an open position to a closed position; a second valve member configured to rotate from an open position of the second valve member to a closed position of the second valve member; and a hydraulic dampener coupled to each of the first valve member and the second valve member in each of the open position and the closed position of each of the first valve member and the second valve member, the hydraulic dampener configured to resist rotation of the first valve member towards the closed position of the first valve member and the second valve member towards the closed position of the second valve member.
Pneumatic-hydraulic control valve
A pneumatic-hydraulic control valve includes a valve base and a valve stem movably disposed in the valve base. A first inner oil guiding hole of the valve stem communicates with a first outer oil guiding hole of the valve base. A second inner oil guiding hole of the valve stem does not communicate with a second outer oil guiding hole of the valve base when the valve stem is closed, and communicates with the second outer oil guiding hole of the valve base when the valve stem is opened. Further, the valve stem has a first stressed portion for bearing a fluid closing force and a second stressed portion for bearing a fluid opening force. The outer diameter of the first stressed portion is larger than that of the second stressed portion. Thus, the present invention reduces a valve opening force without affecting the sealing effect.
Device of a Blow-Moulding Apparatus
A device of a blow-moulding apparatus for moulding hollow bodies, in particular a stretch blow-moulding machine, is disclosed. The device includes a housing block with a through-bore, at least one valve with a movable piston and with a valve chamber, a first channel which runs in the housing block and which connects the valve chamber to the through-bore, a second channel which connects the valve chamber to an external line, and a cover for fastening the valve to the housing block. The valve connects the first channel and the second channel to one another and separates them from one another. The second channel runs at least partially in the cover and/or at least one part of the valve chamber is arranged in the cover and surrounds the piston. The device is small and compact and the valves may be replaced in a simple manner.
Method for Operating a Valve Unit and Valve Unit
Method for actuating a valve unit, which has a process pressure inlet, a process pressure outlet and a valve chamber connecting the process pressure inlet to the process pressure outlet and a movable piston for closing and opening the connection between the process pressure inlet and the process pressure outlet. The piston is able to be subjected on a first side to a first control pressure and the piston is able to be subjected on a second side to a second control pressure. The piston is moved by means of the first control pressure and the second control pressure for the purpose of closing and opening the connection. In the operating state of the valve unit, the piston is permanently subjected to the first control pressure, wherein the piston is additionally subjected to the second control pressure for moving the piston in one direction and wherein a pressure which is higher than atmospheric pressure and lower than the second control pressure is used as the first control pressure.
Complementary fluidic valves and systems
A fluidic valve may include an inlet, a control port, an additional control port, an outlet, a fluid channel configured to convey fluid from the inlet to the outlet, and a piston that includes (1) a restricting gate transmission element configured to block, when the piston is in a first position, the fluid channel and unblock, when the piston is in a second position, the fluid channel, (2) a controlling gate transmission element configured to interface with a control pressure from the control port that forces the piston towards the first position when applied to the controlling gate transmission element, and (3) an additional controlling gate transmission element configured to interface with an additional control pressure from the additional control port that forces the piston towards the second position when applied to the additional controlling gate transmission element. Various other related devices, systems, and methods are also disclosed.
Inflation valve assembly
An inflation valve and systems for inflating an inflatable device includes a valve. The valve includes an outer body, a command chamber within the outer body and an inlet chamber, the inlet chamber having an inlet connected to the source of inflation gas and an outlet connected to the inflatable device. The valve also includes a vent fluidly connected to the command chamber, the vent including a vent body having one or more vent holes formed therein and an elastomeric sleeve surrounding a portion of the vent body and covering the one or more vent holes.
VALVE CARTRIDGE, VALVE CARTRIDGE KIT, VALVE INCORPORATING A VALVE CARTRIDGE OR VALVE CARTRIDGE KIT AND A METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A VALVE
A valve cartridge (1) having a body (10), a piston (12) and a piston support (22). The body has a seat (14). The piston (12) is supported on the piston support (22) and movable between first and second positions. The piston (12) is spaced from the valve seat (14) at the first position and the piston (12) seats on the valve seat (14) at the second position. The piston (12) and piston support (22) form a confined space. The volume of the confined space is at a maximum when the piston (12) is at the first position and is at a minimum when the piston (12) is at the second position. The piston (12) is under bias such that the piston (12) is biased away from the valve seat (14) to the first position and, in use, the piston (12) is able to seat on the valve seat (14) in the second position when subjected to sufficient pressure to counter the bias.
NORMALLY CLOSED VALVE FOR DRY PIPE TRIM ON A DIAPHRAGM VALVE
A valve assembly includes a body, a spring, a spacer, an interfacing member, a connecting rod, and a plunger. The body includes a first section defining a first opening, a second section defining a chamber, a second opening, and a pressure port, and a third section defining a third opening and a release port. The second section is between the first section and the third section. The spring is positioned within the third opening. The spacer is positioned within the third opening and coupled with the spring. The interfacing member is positioned partially within the third opening and coupled with the spacer. The connecting rod is positioned partially within the second opening and the chamber and coupled with the interfacing member. The plunger is positioned within the chamber and coupled with the connecting rod.
SUB-PLATE MOUNTED VALVE
A sub-plate mounted valve for installation in a sub-plate or manifold for controlling hydraulic systems, such as subsea blowout preventers. A spool (123) disposed within the valve is movable between an open position in which fluid flow is permitted from a supply port (108) of the manifold to a function port (106) of the manifold, and a closed position in which fluid flow is permitted between a return port (110) of the manifold and the function port (106). The spool (123) is moved between the open and the closed position by supplying pressurized fluid to a piston (126) disposed on the outside surface of the spool. One or more springs (130) may also act on the piston to bias the spool into the open or the closed position. To facilitate proper alignment of the valve within the manifold, the valve may be rotated within the manifold to align indicators (450, 452) corresponding to particular features of the manifold and the valve.
