Externally mounted in-line exhaust gas valve
A valve assembly for an exhaust system of a vehicle. The valve assembly includes a first housing, a second housing, a valve flap and a spring. The first housing defines an inlet, an outlet, and an exhaust gas passageway in fluid communication with the inlet and the outlet. The second housing is attached to the first housing and defines a compartment. The valve flap is rotatable between a first position restricting exhaust gas flow through the exhaust gas passageway, and a second position whereat exhaust gas flow through the exhaust gas passageway is allowed. The spring is disposed in the compartment and out of the exhaust gas passageway. The spring engages the valve flap to bias the valve flap toward the first position.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR REGULATING WATERWORKS PRESSURE
A control system for regulating fluid flow and pressure downstream a waterworks main valve includes a variable orifice device disposed upstream a pressure reducing pilot. The variable orifice device is in fluid communication with the pressure reducing pilot and a cover chamber of the main valve. Opening and closing the variable orifice device causes the main valve to modulate and the pressure of fluid downstream the main valve to be changed while avoiding pressure oscillations during the transition between pressure setpoints.
Method for monitoring a mechanical system
A method for monitoring a system with mechanically movable parts, preferably a valve system, wherein the system is preferably part of a technical plant, in particular a production plant, and wherein the system has at least one mechanically movable part, in particular a valve, where the method comprises a) acquiring indicators, which can be used for a technical characterization of a movement procedure of the mechanically movable part, via technical devices configured for the acquisition of the indicators and b) transferring the acquired indicators to an evaluation unit arranged outside the system to determine a technical status of the system.
Valve device
Valve device, in particular for an exhaust gas section of an internal combustion engine, includes a valve housing with an inlet and outlet, a valve seat arranged between the inlet and outlet and having a valve opening, closeable by a valve closing member pressed against the valve seat by a predetermined force, and a diaphragm acting on the valve closing member. A first control chamber is separated from a second control chamber by the diaphragm so that the valve is switched by a pressure difference between the first control chamber and second control chamber. For reliable opening even under adverse operating conditions, the diaphragm is connected to the valve closing member, at least over a partial range of a possible stroke of the valve closing member, via a gear mechanism to translate movement of the diaphragm into movement of the valve closing member at a lower speed.
Control valve
A control valve includes a body and a sleeve, the body having a flow passage therethrough, the flow passage having an inlet, an outlet, a first portion, a second portion, a junction of the first portion and the second portion, and an opening to the second portion. The first portion has a first axis centered through the inlet, a first bend, and a second axis. The second portion has a third axis centered through the outlet, a second bend, and a fourth axis. The fourth axis is perpendicular to the second axis. The first portion is upstream of the junction and the second portion is downstream of the junction. The second axis is centered through the junction. The opening has a fifth axis aligned with the second axis. The sleeve is fastened to the body within the first portion, the sleeve having a sixth axis aligned with the second axis.
VALVE STRUCTURE WITH BUILT-IN VALVE SEAT OF PRE-ACTION WARNING VALVE
The present invention discloses a valve structure with a built-in valve seat of a pre-action warning valve, including: a valve body, a valve cap, a valve seat, and a membrane clack. The pre-action warning valve provided in the present invention has the advantages of being simple, reliable, and low in manufacturing costs.
Control valves
An example control valve includes a split valve body. The split valve body includes a first body portion, a second body portion, a flow path, an inlet port, and an outlet port. The flow path passes through the first body portion and the second body portion. The first body portion is coupled to the second body portion. The control valve also includes a valve seat. The valve seat is disposed between the first body portion and the second body portion. The control valve also includes a valve plug. The valve plug is movable relative to the valve seat to control fluid flow through the control valve.
ABS pressure control valve assembly
An ABS pressure control valve assembly for controlling the fluid pressure in a pressure-medium-operated brake system of a vehicle having brake slip control, by which the brake pressure in pressure-medium-operated brake actuators is adaptively adjusted for a locking tendency of individual wheels of the vehicle. Two membranes of two membrane valves are clamped between two housing parts and an intermediate plate. Also described are a pressure-medium-operated brake system of a vehicle with brake-slip control, including at least one such ABS pressure control valve assembly, and to a method for producing such an ABS pressure control valve assembly.
No-bolt valve assembly system
A valve assembly includes an actuator adapted to drive movement of a valve member between an open position and a closed position. The valve assembly also includes a bonnet coupled to the actuator and a valve body coupled to the bonnet, the bonnet arranged between at least a portion of the actuator and the valve body. The valve assembly further includes a quick connector adapted to couple the bonnet to the valve body. The quick connector includes a plurality of bonnet lugs separated by a plurality of spaces, the plurality of bonnet lugs extending radially outward from an axis. The quick connector also includes a plurality of valve body lugs configured to interact with the plurality of bonnet lugs, the plurality of bonnet lugs being arranged to axially align with the plurality of valve body lugs to block axial movement of the bonnet with respect to the valve body.
Balanced plug assemblies and pressure regulators having balanced plug assemblies
Balanced plug assemblies and pressure regulators having balanced plug assemblies are described herein. A pressure regulator disclosed herein includes a device body defining a fluid passageway between an inlet and an outlet. The device body defines a channel between the fluid passageway and a pressure sense chamber. The pressure regulator includes a seat in the fluid passageway, a stem having a flange, and a plug coupled to the stem. The pressure regulator also includes a stem guide disposed in the channel of the device body. The flange of the stem disposed in a balance chamber of the stem guide and divides the balance chamber into a first balance chamber portion and a second balance chamber portion. The stem guide at least partially forms a balance passage that fluidly couples the pressure sense chamber and the second balance chamber portion.
