Pneumatic valve
A valve for a pneumatic system, has: a first enclosure defining a first chamber and a first connection port; a second enclosure defining a second chamber and a second connection port; a first shell subjected to a first pressure differential and movable from a default position to a reversed position via snap-through buckling upon the first pressure differential reaching a threshold; and a second shell having a shape different than a shape of the first shell, the second shell resiliently movable from an initial position to a deformed position when subjected to a second pressure differential, wherein a first flow rate of a fluid via the first connection port induces deformation of the second shell followed by a snapping of the first shell thereby generating a second flow rate greater than the first flow rate.
Pipeline energy recovery system
Methods and systems are provided for a power-generating fluid flow arrangement. In one example, the fluid flow arrangement may include a primary conduit flowing a pressurized fluid and a bypass conduit coupled to the primary conduit. The bypass conduit may divert a portion of the pressurized fluid flow from the primary conduit to drive rotation of a turbine. A dual valve may be arranged in the bypass conduit to control both flow and pressure in the fluid flow arrangement.
IRRIGATION VALVE
What is disclosed is an improved irrigation valve that utilizes an upper diaphragm and a lower diaphragm. The valve has a housing having an intake and a discharge. The lower diaphragm serves to provide a seal between the intake and discharge when the valve is in an off position. In the on position the valve allows fluid flow into the intake and out the discharge. The valve utilizes an upper chamber that when pressurized causes the upper diaphragm to contact and exert pressure on the lower diaphragm, causing the lower diaphragm to close an orifice between the intake and the discharge of the valve housing. The upper diaphragm and the lower diaphragm define a chamber that is preferably vented to atmosphere.
Water heater gas valve
A gas valve assembly configured to operate without a pilot assembly is disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment, a servo valve actuates a diaphragm valve to selectively allow for fluid coupling of a gas inlet and gas outlet. The diaphragm valve may be a normally closed valve that opens in response to a pneumatic force resulting from the opening of the servo valve.
Flow diverter with antisipohon
A flow diverter for diverting flow between a toilet bowl and a toilet tank, the flow diverter having: a body with an inlet, outlet and pressure relief vent; and a flow adjustment mechanism rotatable around the outlet to selectively divert different percentages of flow between the outlet and the pressure relief vent by moving a stopper in and out of the outlet by rotating a sleeve of the flow adjustment mechanism around the outlet.
Bellows valve and an injection valve
A bellows valve includes a first bellows connected to a first cap member at one end and to a support member at the other end, and a second bellows connected to a second cap member at one end and to said support member at the other end. Respective first and second bellows cavities are thus formed inside each bellows. An orifice is arranged to fluidly interconnect the first and second bellows cavities, and a bellows-internal valve device is arranged to selectively open and close the orifice. The bellows-internal valve device includes first and second resilient members arranged on respective first and second sides of the support member and having respective portions being coupled to respective first and second holding members on the valve device. The bellows valve is useful in injection valves, such as gas lift valves.
Relay Valve and Force Balancing Method
A relay valve configured according to the various embodiments as described herein advantageously provides consistent, reliable start point pressures for both supply and exhaust functionalities. To achieve this, the relay valves described herein utilize a plurality of diaphragms to neutralize any variable forces due to pressure in an actuator and, optionally, a supply connected to the relay valve.
FLOW DIVERTER WITH ANTISIPHON
A flow diverter for diverting flow between a toilet bowl and a toilet tank, having: a body having an inlet, a first outlet and a second outlet; and a flow adjustment mechanism rotatable within the body to selectively divert different percentages of flow between the first outlet and the second outlet; and an air vent and diaphragm in the body to prevent a siphon flow from the first or second outlet back to the inlet.
PNEUMATICALLY-ACTUATED VALVE FOR A MACHINE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF LIQUID OR SEMI-LIQUID FOOD PRODUCTS AND MACHINE COMPRISING THE VALVE
A machine for making liquid or semi-liquid food products with a plurality of deformable feeding containers, each feeding container connected to a processing chamber for processing the base mixture and including a stirrer and a thermal treatment device for the base mixture, operating in conjunction with one another to convert the base mixture into a liquid or semi-liquid product. The operative connection of each feeding container to the processing chamber to transfer the base mixture from the feeding container to the processing chamber is made by a network of withdrawing ducts through an interposed pneumatically actuated valve which can be activated and deactivated independently of the remaining valves and which includes a valve body with an inlet duct and an outlet duct, and with a shutter acting to selectively interrupt or allow the connection between the inlet duct and the outlet duct.
