Spring assist cable clamps
A cable clamp for clamping drop cables to main span cables. The cable clamp has a body that includes an elongated drop cable guide, an elongated main span cable guide, and main body section between the drop cable guide and the main span cable guide. The body has a lower body half and an upper body half. The lower body half is movable relative to the upper body half between at least one open position and a clamping position. When the body is in a clamping position the lower body half and upper body half of the drop cable guide form a drop cable opening, and the lower body half and upper body half of the main span cable guide form a main span cable opening. A stem extends through the lower body half of the main body section and is releasably secured to the upper body half of the main body section such that rotational movement of the stem is translated to movement of the lower body half relative to the upper body half. The stem has a collar and a spring is positioned on the stem between the collar and the lower body half of the main body section to normally bias the body to the clamping position.
Universal nozzle connector with an adjustable mount
An adjustable locking assembly, including a strap lock including a clamping element, a locking strap including a first end connected to the strap lock and a second end connected to a locking pin, and a pin locking element including a pivoting latch, the pivoting latch including a channel arranged to receive the locking pin, wherein in a locked position, the locking pin is secured in the channel and the pivoting latch is pivoted away from the strap lock, and in an unlocked position, the locking strap is freely movable.
Pipe support and method
A pipe support has a pair of arms. The first end of one arm has a tongue and the first end of the other arm has an elongate groove configured to slidably receive the tongue. Base plates are pivotably connected to the second ends of both arms.
HINGED CLAMPING BRACKET FOR AT LEAST ONE TUBULAR ARTICLE
A hinged clamping bracket for at least one tubular article. The bracket for at least one tubular article includes lower and upper separable members which are complementarily shaped to define at least one cylindrical clamping housing for receiving the tubular article and a hinge pivotally connecting the members for relative rotating movement. More specifically, the lower and upper members include respectively lower and upper articulating portions each provided with a seat defining a substantially semi-cylindrical receiving space and forming respectively lower and upper articulating parts of the hinge, thereby forming a rotatable pivot assembly with the tubular article in the clamping bracket assembling position in which the two separable members are rotationally articulated about the tubular article acting as the pivot axis of the hinge.
HIGH TEMPERATURE CLAMPS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A clamp comprising a top and a base each having a body and at least one arm that is cantilevered away from the body. The top has a through hole that passes through the body. The base is a separate part from the top and comprises a stud that extends from the base to a distal end. A fastener is coupled to the stud such that the fastener can selectively translate along the longitudinal axis of the stud. A first mating interface is cantilevered away from the top or the base. The top is coupled to the base by placing the through hole down over the stud and permanently capturing the fastener between the first end and the distal end of the stud and aligning the at least one upper arm of the top with the at least one lower arm of the base to capture a bushing.
Sliding jaw drop clamp
A cable clamp for clamping drop cables to main span cables. The cable clamp has a frame, a jaw assembly and a stem. The frame has a main body, a drop cable body and a main cable body. The jaw assembly is operatively coupled to the main body and has a drop cable jaw and a main cable jaw. The drop cable jaw is movable along the main body between an open position and a closed position. The main cable jaw is movable along the main body between an open position and a closed position. The main cable jaw can be automatically moved from the open position to the closed position. The stem is operatively coupled to the main body and the jaw assembly so that the stem can selectively block the main cable jaw in the open position and release the main cable jaw so that can automatically move to the closed position.
Channel framing with additional functional side
Channel framing includes an elongate body having a longitudinal axis and defining an interior extending along the longitudinal axis. The body includes a first side defining a continuous slot extending lengthwise of the body and into the interior of the body. A second side is generally opposite the first side and defines a fitting groove extending lengthwise of the body. The fitting groove is configured for receiving at least one type of fitting to secure the fitting to the channel framing.
Pipe clip with tightening screw having torque limiting cap
A pipe clip includes a metal annular clip body having at least two opposing radial flanges defining an opening adapted to arrange the pipe clip around a pipe. The clip body has at one of the radial flanges a female fastening. The pipe clip includes a tightening screw having a head and a shank. The shank is provided with a male thread adapted to cooperate with the female fastening. The head engages the other of the flanges so as to tighten the flanges towards each other and tighten the pipe clip around the pipe. The pipe clip has a vibration insulating lining provided on the inner side of the clip body. A torque limiting cap is arranged on the screw head of the tightening screw. The torque limiting cap includes at least one torque transferring feature that couples the cap to the screw head in a rotational direction.
Cable holder assemblies for a solar panel system
Wire or cable holder assemblies employed in a solar power system are disclosed. In some embodiments, an assembly could include a cap and a base configured with channels. When the cap and the base are clamped to an object (e.g., a solar module frame), enclosures defined by the channels and a surface of the solar frame module are formed to hold cables. In some embodiments, an assembly could include a plunger with at least one leg and a base that includes a receptacle for receiving the plunger and a hook for holding electrical cables. A leg include a rack having teeth adapted to fall into notches or spaces formed by complementary teeth of a pawl found in the receptacle that forms a ratchet which permits insertion of the plunger into the receptacle but not an extraction. If extraction is desired, an external force may be applied to release the pawl.
CABLE CLAMP WITH ADJUSTMENT LATCHES
Two identical cradle halves joined together to form a cable clamp that secures at least one cable to a surface. Each cradle half has a front, a back, a top, a bottom, and sides. Each cradle half has at least one cradle portion with a compression insert and an attachment portion. The attachment portion has an adjustment latch with a post having a T-shaped head and a tapered adjustment slot. The cable clamp is formed by joining the two cradle halves with the top of one cradle half positioned on the top of a second cradle half. The cradle portion and the attachment portion of one cradle half is positioned over the cradle portion and the attachment portion of the second cradle half to form the cable clamp.
