Attachment device for a non-structural component of a building
An attachment device for securing a non-structural component of a building to a structural component of the building includes a non-structural component holder defining a receiving space configured to receive the non-structural component to couple the non-structural component to the attachment device. The non-structural component holder applies generally no compressive force against the non-structural component when the non-structural component is disposed in the receiving space so that the non-structural component is free to move relative to the non-structural component holder. A stop is configured to be secured to the non-structural component. The stop is configured to engage the non-structural component holder to inhibit movement of the non-structural component relative to the non-structural component holder when the stop and non-structural component holder are secured to the non-structural component.
STRUCTURE AND EQUIPMENT SYSTEM FOR INSTALLATION IN AN AIRCRAFT
A structure and equipment system installed in an aircraft includes vertical supports, a rail device, a connector, guiding elements, pivot joints, and locking devices. The rail device is arranged on the aircraft to guide the guiding elements along a rail device extension axis. Via the connector, the vertical supports are arranged in parallel and connect to form a grid arrangement with the guiding elements arranged thereon. The pivot joints are attached to upper ends of the vertical supports to pivot them. The locking devices each have a first and a second locking element. The grid arrangement is inserted into the aircraft as far as an installation position via the guiding elements on the rail device with vertical supports pivoted upwards from the vertical, by pivoting down into a vertical orientation, the first locking elements can interlock with correspondingly arranged second locking elements to form a load-bearing support structure.
Surface elevated onshore and offshore cable mounting system
A pipe mounting system comprising support cables is provided for use in mounting an above-ground elevated pipe or an underwater pipe. The pipe mounting system includes a suspended composite pipeline and a support cable. Multiple cable carriers are provided to carry the support cable along the length of the pipeline, and cradles or rings are provided that extend from the cable carriers and receive and support the pipeline.
