METHOD FOR MOLDING THIN-WALLED SPIRAL TUBE FOR USE WITH ENDOSCOPE

A method of molding a polymeric device having an elongated tube and a spiral fin. The method including: injecting a liquid resin into a mold space defining the polymeric device, the mold space having an elongated hollow tube molding space and a spiral fin molding space wound around the elongated hollow tube molding space; and providing a longitudinal flow path in at least a portion of a longitudinal length of the elongated tube molding space, the longitudinal flow path defining a concavity greater in depth than other portions of the elongated hollow tube molding space such that the liquid resin injected into the mold space flows in the longitudinal flow path to fill one or more ends of the hollow tube molding space.

Sample shaker system with sealed airflow

A sealed airflow system suitable for use with a sample shaker assembly. The sealed airflow system includes at least one component which accommodates movement of the sample shaker assembly while maintaining an air tight assembly between components of the sealed air flow system. A compliant sliding seal compensates for movement of the sample shaker assembly with regard to an air intake side of the sealed airflow control system. Additionally, a flexible conduit provides an air tight passage between an outlet of the sealed airflow control system and an exhaust port. The flexible conduit compensates for movement of the sample shaker assembly in a manner that does not permit unwanted airflow into or out of sealed airflow control system.

The wave form portion has a wave peak element (18), which itself has, along a peripheral direction extending around the longitudinal axis of the fluid line, a varying distance from the longitudinal axis, the distance including a distance curve in the peripheral direction, the distance curve providing a non-circular contour. A fluid line is thus provided having a wave form portion, which fluid line reduces the pressure drop at the wave form portion.

The flexible pipe includes an outer bellows formed in a corrugated tubular shape with mountains and valleys, an inner bellows formed in a corrugated tubular shape with mountains and valleys and provided inside the outer bellows, a pair of flanges connected to both ends of the outer bellows and the inner bellows, respectively, and a detection unit for checking whether leakage occurs due to damage or breakage of the outer and inner bellows by detecting an amount of oxygen present in an air having an atmospheric pressure and filled in an atmospheric space between the outer and inner bellows. Leakage due to damage or breakage of the outer and inner bellows can be detected based on variation in the amount of oxygen present in the space between the outer bellows and the inner bellows.

Dryer Lint Tube

The present invention relates to a dryer lint tube/hose made up of a flexible and heat-resistant material. The dryer lint tube comes in various accordion-style designs that allow the tube to be flexible, adjustable and extendable in length. In one design, the tube has detachable tubular ends for securely fitting the tube to a dryer vent and a wall vent. Further, in another embodiment, the tube has alternate tubular and accordion-style lengths. In a third embodiment, the tube has a pure accordion-style design. The dryer lint tube is easy to cut, and can be installed without any tools. A twist-on clamp with a large end is used to secure the tube at both the dryer vent and the wall vent.
