Wire harness and method for producing exterior member of wire harness
A wire harness includes at least one conductive path, and an exterior member having a tubular shape and made of resin, the exterior member covering the conductive path. The exterior member includes a flexible tube portion with flexibility and a non-flexible tube portion with low flexibility lower than the flexibility of the flexible tube portion. At least one of the flexible tube portion and the non-flexible tube portion includes a thick portion and a thin portion which are arranged in a tube axis direction, the thick portion and the thin portion being different in thickness.
Hose arrangements
A hose arrangement includes an outer tube of flexible material and an inner tube of an elastic material for carrying fluid. Due to an action of the elastic inner tube, the hose has a shorter length in a contracted state in the absence of fluid pressure in the interior of the inner elastic tube and a longer length in an expanded state when the fluid pressure is applied to the interior of the elastic inner tube. The tube has an undulating state in the contracted state and controls and contains expansion of the inner tube when the hose is in the expanded state. At least one sleeve portion is provided between the elastic inner tube and the outer tube along a part of the elastic inner tube where undulation of the outer tube occurs in the contracted state for protecting the elastic inner tube from abrasion undulations of the outer tube.
COMPONENT FOR CONVEYING GASES
This invention provides for a component forming a part of a breathing tube, or forming the breathing tube, for example as a part of a breathing circuit for respiratory therapy. The component comprising a tubular body having a foamed wall. The foamed wall can be formed from extrusion of a single extrudate. The foamed wall is of a sufficient minimum optical transparency such that, in use, there is enabled the visual detection of a liquid (or condensate that may have formed) within the tubular body.
Expandable hose
Provided is a hose including a first connector assembly including a regulator assembly, a second connector assembly, and a hose assembly coupled to the first and second connector assemblies. The hose assembly includes an inner hose member having first and second ends, an outer hose member having first and second ends, a first hose connector assembly coupled to the first ends of the inner hose member and outer hose member and the first connector assembly, and a second hose connector assembly coupled to the second ends of the inner hose member and outer hose member and the second connector assembly.

Arc resistant corrugated tubing system with protective jacket and fitting
A tubing apparatus includes corrugated tubing including convolutions of peaks and valleys in the body of the tubing; an electrically conductive or semi-conductive, polymer jacket disposed along an exterior length of the corrugated tubing; wherein the jacket provides protection to the inner corrugated tubing from damage resulting from electrical arcing at levels ranging from at least 9 coulombs at a waveform of 10 microseconds?1000 microseconds.
Fluid hose device
The present invention relates to a fluid hose device (1) comprising a fluid hose (2), through which a fluid can be transported, having a plurality of anti-kink projections (3) which are spaced apart from one another and provided in the longitudinal direction (L) of the fluid hose (1), which projections extend in a circular manner around the external surface (7) of the fluid hose (2), wherein a group (9) of a plurality of connecting webs (4) is provided in each case between two adjacent anti-kink projections (3), which webs interconnect the adjacent anti-kink projections (3), wherein the groups (9) are arranged in an alternating chevron pattern in the longitudinal direction (L) of the fluid hose (1).
Color changing hose
A hose having an observed color, the hose includes a tubular wall having an interior, an exterior and a thickness. The observed hose color changes between a first hose color in a first state and a second hose color in a second state. Differences between the first state and second state may be the result of different expansions of the hose, different pressure pressures within the hose, differences in amount of fluid within the hose and different tensions states for the hose. Observed color changes between the first state and second state may be a color change, a color shade change, alternating rings of at least two different colors or shades of color along the length of the hose, a color pattern change or even the generation of indicia on the hose.
Sewer hose and method
A sewer hose including a corrugated central body integrally joined at opposing longitudinal ends by attachment collars, a first collar defining one or more locking channels, and a second collar defining one or more lugs sized and shaped for insertion into respective channels. A method of manufacturing the hose is also disclosed, including the steps of providing mold segments sized and shaped to produce the aforementioned collar sections as well as the corrugated central body, deploying them in a molding apparatus, and injecting a polymeric material into the mold segments so as to form a sewer hose with integrally attached male and female attachment collars, negating inefficient and ineffective attachment adapters.
