Flexible plastic hose and method for manufacturing same
Disclosed is a flexible plastic hose (1) comprising a tubular hose body (2) having web portions (7) and a helical reinforcing rib (8), and a cuff (3a) mounted to an extremity (16) of the hose body (2) comprising a molded end fitting (5a) bonded to the extremity (16a), and a stress relief element (4) with a first segment (S1) having an internal screw-thread (15) complementary to the helical reinforcing rib (8). Disclosed is also a method for making same, and use of the hose (1) as a medical hose.
Corrugated tube and wireharness
A corrugated tube made of resin includes outer grooved portions and outer ridged portions which are formed in a circumferential direction when the corrugated tube is seen from the outside. The outer grooved portions and the outer ridged portions continuously alternate in a tube-axial direction. Inner ridged portions and inner grooved portions are formed on an inner surface of the corrugated tube so as to respectively conform to the shapes of the outer grooved portions and the outer ridged portions. A cushioning portion is formed on the inner surface of the corrugated tube, and has hardness softer than that of a covering outer surface of one or multiple conductive paths accommodated in the corrugated tube.
Expandable and contractible hose
An expandable and contractible hose, the hose includes a segmented tubular wall circumscribing an interior. The segmented tubular wall is made up of a plurality of contiguous segments. Each contiguous segment expands along the length of the hose with the application of pressure from within. A bias holds the contiguous segments in a collapsed state when no pressure is applied from within the interior. A pressurized fluid passing within the interior overcomes the bias and causes the contiguous segments to expand into an expanded state.

Each contiguous segment expands along the length of the hose with the application of pressure from within. A liquid cooled cable (1) includes a conductor (2) with at least two cable strands (3). The conductor (2) is encompassed b a hose (5) spaced in a sectional view at least partially apart from the conductor (2) by an interstitial space (6). The interstititial space (6) is arranged between an inner wall (7) of the hose (5) and the cable strands (3) of the conductor (2). The interstitial space (6) conducts a cooling liquid (15) along the conductor (2).
ANTISTATIC FLEXIBLE HOSE
An antistatic flexible hose, including: a hose body which is formed of a soft material having flexibility; a conductive layer which is provided along an outer peripheral face of the hose body in an axial direction; a conductive wire which is wound in a spiral shape along the outer peripheral face of the hose body and an outer surface of the conductive layer and which is provided so as to be pressure-welded, in a radial direction, to the outer peripheral face of the hose body and the outer surface of the conductive layer; and a reinforcing member which is provided in a spiral shape along the conductive wire so as to protrude from the outer peripheral face of the hose body and the outer surface of the conductive layer.
VACUUM-INSULATED MEDICAL DEVICES
Provided are medical devices that comprise first and second tubes with a sealed insulating space formed therebetween, the devices being steerable and configured to deliver a fluid to a treatment site on or within a subject. The tubes of the devices can include corrugations so as to allow for bendability of the devices. Also provided are methods of using the disclosed devices.

Hemp fibers may be disposed throughout or in selected portions of a hose (e.g., an expandable water hose). The hemp fibers deployed in the hose enhance the durability of the hose, and imparts various advantageous properties (e.g., anti-microbial or anti-bacterial, mildew-resistant, odor reduction, moisture wicking, etc.) to the hose.

A flexible hose (10), for a vacuum cleaner, has a wall (12), an inner side (14) of which delimiting a cavity (16) for conveying media and at least one outer side (18) of which having a profiling (20) which has, in section, seen along a longitudinal axis (22) of the hose, elevations (24) and depressions (26). On the outer side of the wall, at least one electrically conductive track (28) is provided which extends around the wall and is in electrical contact with at least one electrically conductive thread (30) which electrically connects ends of the hose facing away from one another. The electrically conductive thread is fastened to the outer side in a manner extending substantially along the longitudinal axis of the hose and transverse to the electrically conductive track.
