TOOL AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING A SEAL BY ALLOWING A PRECOMPRESSION TO JOIN TWO TUBULAR PARTS
When coupling tubular parts by fitting, the seal interposed between them may roll on itself, be pinched or damaged. Now, a twisted or damaged seal no longer correctly ensures the seal-tightness and it is very difficult to detect this. The present application discloses a tool for installing a seal between two tubular parts, one male and one female, including a compression ring to encircle the male part and exert a compression on the seal before producing the join. The tool also includes a tongue that can be positioned at a chamfered surface of the female tubular part. The tongue makes it possible to offer the pre-compressed seal with the dimensions of the female part a continuous travel making it possible to prevent any twisting or other effect compromising the seal-tightness.
Connection joint for pipes to convey gas, compressed air and other fluids
A fluid connection joint to couple tubular pipes intended to convey gas, compressed air and other fluids. The fluid connection joint includes a deformable internal ring having sealing surfaces internally to engage with an outer surface of a first tubular element and frontally to engage with a second tubular element. The deformable internal ring is located within a housing that is coupled to a flange of the second tubular element by fixing screws. The tightening of the fixing screws results in a substantially radial compression of the internal ring and seals around the first tubular element and a second substantially axial compression of the frontal seal against the flange.
TUBE CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
The present invention relates to a tube connector assembly which may comprise a body provided with a through cavity extending in an axial direction, a ring adapted to be mounted at the periphery of a useful portion of the tube and provided, at one of its ends, with a support surface adapted to receive a curved end portion of the tube, a nut adapted to be screwed onto the body so as to compress the curved end portion of the tube against a receiving surface in the axial direction via said ring, and an annular receiving part forming the receiving surface and removably mounted on the body.
