BLOCK FITTING AND SEAL STRUCTURE
A block fitting for connecting components in a vehicular refrigeration system includes male and female blocks defining aligned bores that provide fluid communication between the assembled blocks. A primary seal member is disposed between the blocks in fluid tight relation. A separate secondary seal member spaced from the primary seal member is provided between the blocks. The seal members are pre-assembled onto one of the blocks to form a pre-assembled sub-assembly. In one form, the primary seal member is retained on the block by a polymeric guide ring.
Method and apparatus for retaining a flange on a fluid meter
A sensor assembly (5) for a fluid meter (100) is provided. The sensor assembly (5) comprises a sensor assembly body (6) and one or more circumferential grooves (303) formed in the sensor assembly body (6). Two or more retaining components (105, 106) are removably coupled together around at least one of the one or more circumferential grooves (303) with a portion of the two or more retaining components engaging the circumferential groove. A flange (104) is also provided that surrounds at least a portion of the sensor assembly body (6) and is retained around the sensor assembly body (6) by the first and second retaining components (105, 106).
Fluid coupling and retainer for fluid coupling
A retainer includes an annular gasket retaining portion for retaining a gasket therein and an annular coupling member retaining portion which has an inner diameter greater than that of the gasket retaining portion and retains one coupling member. At an inner circumference of the gasket retaining portion and an inner circumference of the coupling member retaining portion are formed annular grooves, respectively, for holding therein elastic rings, respectively.
Block fitting for metal seal structures
A block fitting for an air conditioning system includes a male block portion and a female block portion. The male block portion has a first annular pilot. The female block portion has a first annular collar that receives the first annular pilot of the male block portion. The first aperture of the male block portion and the first aperture of the female block portion are substantially concentrically aligned. A first seal structure is disposed between the first annular pilot of the male block portion and the first annular collar of the female block portion. A fastener engages the male block portion with the female block portion to form a substantially fluid tight seal. One of the of the male block portion and the female block portion has a stabilizing heel formed adjacent a side surface thereof. The stabilizing heel militates against transverse dynamic loading of the seal structure in operation.

Face-to-face positive restrained rotating pipe flange
An annular ductile iron flange of nominal size has a non-threaded inner longitudinal surface defining an inner diameter that exceeds the outer diameter of a corresponding length of hubless ductile iron pipe of nominal thickness. The flange also has a basal surface with both a plurality of evenly spaced bolt holes and an annular counterbore adjacent to the inner longitudinal surface. The counterbore has a longitudinal depth slightly larger than the nominal thickness and a radial depth slightly larger than twice the nominal thickness. The flange is coupled to, and configured to rotate longitudinally around, the length of pipe. The bell end of the pipe is machined to an annular stub configured to recess into the counterbore. A threaded annular ductile-iron flange may be screwed onto the spigot end of the pipe.
FLEXIBLE TUBE ASSEMBLY
A flexible tube assembly includes a metal tube having large diameter portions and small diameter portions positioned alternately along a longitudinal axis of the metal tube; a wire braiding mounted around the metal tube; a first ring fitted in one of the small diameter portions of the metal tube; a second ring positioned to secure the wire braiding around the first ring; a first annular member and a second annular member positioned on opposite sides of the first ring and the second ring, the first annular member and the second annular member being configured to be assembled by approaching toward each other along the longitudinal axis and, in an assembled condition, at least one of the first annular member and the second annular member surrounds cut wire ends of the wire braiding unexposed.
Tarpaulin bracket system
A tarpaulin system for an open cargo hold. The tarpaulin system includes a tarpaulin, a plurality of bows, a plurality of connectors, a cable, and a tail end system. The plurality of connectors connects the plurality of bows to the cable while the tarpaulin is draped atop the plurality of bows. The tarpaulin bracket system allows for quick, and easy, replacement, or fixing, of the plurality of connectors or damaged bows allowing for much easier and efficient replacement while traveling in harsh environments.
