Bulkhead fitting assembly
A bulkhead fitting assembly that includes a tube, a mounting flange attachable to a bulkhead, a thermal shell joining the mounting flange and the tube and having a portion spaced away from the tube forming an air pocket between the tube and the thermal shell, a plurality of mounting studs extending from the mounting flange away from the thermal shell, and a plurality of bushings positioned between the mounting studs and the bulkhead. The plurality of bushings are each shaped to complete a current path from the tube to the plurality of mounting studs, from the plurality of mounting studs to the plurality of bushings, and from the plurality of bushings to the bulkhead. Nuts are threaded on the studs to secure the fitting assembly by sandwiching the bulkhead between the mounting flange and the bushings, which are retained by the nuts.
Bulkhead fitting assembly and method of sealing a bulkhead opening
A method of sealing an opening in a bulkhead with a fitting assembly having a tube, a mounting flange, a thermal shell, an adapter, a bushing, and a jam nut may include inserting the tube through the opening; placing the mounting flange against the bulkhead, the mounting flange attached to the thermal shell, the thermal shell attached to the tube, and the mounting flange attached to the adapter so that the adapter extends away from the mounting flange and from the thermal shell through the opening; forming an air pocket by spacing a portion of the thermal shell away from the tube; placing the bushing on the adapter; and tightening the jam nut on the adapter to sandwich the bulkhead between the mounting flange and the bushing to form a seal between the mounting flange and the bushing to seal the opening.

Separation preventive pipe joint and pipeline constituent member
A separation preventive pipe joint having an adjustable angle of deflection. A lock ring storage groove accommodates a metallic lock ring that can be engaged with a spigot protrusion and a cushioning material that comes into contact with a bottom of the lock ring storage groove and a side wall on a socket opening side. The cushioning material is made of a material softer than the lock ring.
ARTICULATING COUPLING ASSEMBLY
An articulating coupling assembly for coupling a pipe end to a support structure, the assembly including: a pipe end fitting configured for fitting onto a free end of a pipe; a spherical bearing which is part of said pipe end fitting, the spherical bearing having a maximum diameter not greater than that of the pipe end fitting; a flanged collar configured to receive the pipe end fitting in a snug fit; a radially outer wall of the spherical bearing having one or more slots extending along the bearing in a direction parallel to the axial direction of said pipe; and a radially inner wall of the flanged collar having one or more radially inwardly protruding dogs proportioned to be received snugly in the one or more slots of the radially outer wall of the spherical bearing.
Composite coiled tubing connectors
The invention includes a connector for coupling to a composite pipe, and methods for forming the same. The connector has a seal carrier forming a fluid passage that is made of a first material and that includes a seal receiving portion configured to receive at least one seal and a first coupling surface on an outer seal carrier surface. The connector also has an interconnect with a passage configured to receive the seal carrier that is made of a second material and includes a second coupling surface on an inner interconnect surface configured for coupling with the first coupling surface to connect the seal carrier and the interconnect and a third coupling surface on an outer interconnect surface.
Bulkhead fitting assembly and method of making
A method of making a bulkhead fitting assembly may include joining a tube to a thermal shell of a mounting flange, the mounting flange shaped to be attached to a bulkhead and including an adapter; forming the thermal shell to have a portion spaced away from the tube to form an air pocket between the tube and the thermal shell adjacent the mounting flange; and placing a bushing on the adapter such that the bushing completes a current path from the tube to the adapter, from the adapter to the bushing, and from the bushing to the bulkhead.

Connecting system
A connecting system is provided for detachably connecting a first pipe end to a second pipe end. The first pipe end has a sealing cone facing toward the second pipe end and a shoulder section. The connecting system includes a first clamping disk surrounding the first pipe end and a second clamping disk surrounding and connected to the second pipe end. The connecting system further includes a multiplicity of screws, detachably connecting the first clamping disk to the second clamping disk. The first clamping disk includes an outer circular disk ring and an inner circular disk ring which is detachably connected to the outer circular disk ring. The inner circular disk ring has multiple separate circular disk ring parts, and an outer diameter of the inner circular disk ring is greater than an outside diameter of the shoulder section provided on the first pipe end.
COMPOSITE PIPE END-FITTING
A composite pipe termination is provided comprising: a) a composite pipe having an interior pipe surface, an exterior pipe surface, a pipe end and a liner; b) a composite annular portion attached to the exterior pipe surface, the external surface of the annular portion comprising circumferentially extending ridges; c) a collet having an interior collet surface, wherein the collet encloses at least a part of the annular portion and wherein the interior collet surface comprises circumferentially extending grooves, and wherein circumferentially extending ridges on the external surface of the annular portion mesh with circumferentially extending grooves on the interior collet surface to provide axial movement blocking means; d) an annular collar which encloses and mates with the collet to prevent the collet from moving axially relative to the annular collar; e) an end-fitting locked to the annular collar.
