Connection blocks and pump manifold systems, and related methods, for pumping operations
12117113 · 2024-10-15 · ·

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to connection blocks and pump manifold systems, and related methods, for pumping operations (such as frac operations). In one implementation, a connection block for disposition along a pump manifold of a pump system includes a first end hub having a first tube and a first outer shoulder extending outwardly relative to the first tube. The connection block includes a second end hub opposing the first end hub. The second end hub has a second tube and a second outer shoulder extending outwardly relative to the second tube. The connection block includes one or more faces between the first end hub and the second end hub.

COUPLING ELEMENT FOR AN IMPROVED STERILE FLANGE CONNECTION

A coupling element for a sterile flange connection for connecting fluid channels, comprising a fluid-contacting surface, a first opening end and a second opening end of the fluid-contacting surface, a flange part at the first opening end and/or at the second opening end, a connection plane, the connection plane being arranged normal to an axial coupling element axis of the coupling element and occluding the respective opening end of the coupling element in a delimiting manner, and a film, the film closing at least the first opening end of the fluid-contacting surface, with the coupling element comprising at least one film holding element separate from the coupling element and comprising a film-contacting surface to which the film is removably connected.

Rotatable Joint

Sanitary clamp with concealed threads

A sanitary clamp with facing ring halves employs one or more threaded closure devices configured to avoid having any threads exposed to the ambient. A bolt member may have a stepped shaft with a first smooth shaft portion and a male-threaded tip portion. The latter may be the same or a smaller diameter. An associated nut member has a blind bore that extends from a first end of the nut, with a first smooth wall portion and a second female threaded bore portion. The second female threaded portion may have the same bore diameter, or the bore can have a stepped interior diameter with the second female threaded bore portion having a diameter smaller than the first smooth wall portion. A seal member or gland within the smooth wall bore portion closes off a space defined between said the tip portion of the bolt member and the female-threaded bore portion. Once installed, there are no threaded surfaces of the bolt member or the nut member that are exposed to the ambient.
