Arrangements for blanking a coupling member
An assembly 10 includes a coupling member 12 having a first annular, radial connection flange 22 and a blanking cap 14 comprising a disc-like member 30 which defines a second, corresponding annular, radial connection flange 34. The connecting flanges are clamped together by a clamp (16) with a seal member 18 in-between. The blanking cap comprises a pair of safety lugs 62 attached to the disc-like member which each extend about an outer circumferential periphery of the first connection flange 22. Each safety lug has an abutment 68 for engagement with the first connection flange to limit axial movement of the disc-like member away from the coupling member. The lugs 62 prevent the blanking cap from flying off in the event the clamp is released whilst the interior of the coupling member is pressurised. The lugs 62 may each have a stop member 66 which defines the abutment and which may take the form of an elongate curved member extending circumferentially about an axis of the connection flanges. The clamp may be tri-clamp.
Arrangements for blanking a coupling member

This specification discloses an in-line sight device sealed of a transparent tube surrounded by a tube body having a window. The tube body is attached to at least one flange via an attachment device which avoids any torque on the seal gasket. The flange and tube body are in direct contact with each other and the seal gasket is between the transparent tube and the flange having pressure applied in the same fixed volume and pressure each time the device is assembled.

The system includes a first clamp connector sized to circumferentially couple about the first and second flanges of a first of the flanged connections, and a second clamp connector sized to circumferentially couple about the first and second flanges of a second of the flanged connections. The system further includes an interference feature defined on at least one of the first flanged connection and the second clamp connector. The interference feature is oriented to prevent the first flange of the first flanged connection from coupling to the second flange of the second flanged connection.
CAM LEVER CLAMP FOR SANITARY FITTINGS
This disclosure relates to a cam-type sanitary clamp for releasably coupling two flanged ends of a sanitary fitting, such as a tri-clover fitting. The clamp has an upper clamp ring component hinged to a lower clamp ring component, with a threaded shaft component that is pivotally connected to the lower clamp ring component, a cylindrical pivot component, and a cam-type lever component. The lever is pivotally connected to the pivot component and has a plurality of protrusions, such as lobes, that are each configured to be compressed against the slotted opening of the upper clamp ring section when the cam-type lever component is manually rotated from an open position to a closed position to secure the clamp about the flanges of a sanitary fitting.

A coupling for coupling pipe segments. The coupling includes a first housing component, a second housing component, and a fastener coupling the first and second components together. The fastener has an aligned configuration defining an axis of alignment such that first and second housing components are in a closed configuration to define a central axis of the coupling. The fastener has a skewed configuration to define a pivot axis of the fastener such that the first and second housing components are in an open configuration. The pivot axis is substantially parallel to the central axis and substantially perpendicular to the axis of alignment.
