Modular filtration system and method
A system for further filtering a liquid extract material after an initial extraction process. In an embodiment, the system includes a semi-rigid filter cup that is substantially cylindrical, the filter cup having a top and a bottom, wherein the top is oriented to receive filter media prior to a filtration process, and material to be filtered during the filtration process. The filter cup includes an integrated deformable flange at the top of the filter cup, an integrated top o-ring that is integrated into the top of the integrated deformable flange and an integrated bottom o-ring that is integrated into the bottom of the integrated deformable flange.

APPARATUS FOR PATIENT WARMING
An apparatus for facilitating delivery of conditioned air across a barrier in a cage for holding an animal patient to a blanket arrangement providing the conditioned air to the patient. The apparatus comprising a first duct part, a second duct part and a mounting mechanism arranged to mount the first duct part on one side of the barrier and the second duct part on the other side of the barrier opposite thereto, to provide a duct for ducting conditioned air across the barrier. The barrier comprising bars or mesh, and the apparatus further comprising a seal arrangement to provide at least a partial seal across the bars or mesh. The mounting mechanism comprises a fastening mechanism for fastening the first and second duct parts to each other across the barrier, wherein the fastening mechanism is a keyhole-style fastening arrangement utilising a plurality of headed projections on a flange of the first duct part engagable with respective keyhole-style apertures on a flange of the second duct part.

Grooved pipe coupling with improved sealing
A pipe coupling assembly (200) for use with a seal (16) for sealing end portions of pipe elements (34), including: first and second coupling segments (10), each including a curved portion (12) having an inner surface (14) shaped to define an annular channel and shaped and sized to receive the seal therein. A fastening lug member (18) extends from the curved portion, the fastening lugs of the first and second coupling segments at least partially overlap when the fastening lug members are drawn towards each other. At least one restrainer (30) extending from an end (58) of the fastening lug member and in continuation with the inner surface of the curved portion of at least one of the coupling segments, inhibits trapping of the seal between the fastening lug members when the fastening lug members are drawn toward each other. Other embodiments are also described.

Sanitary fitting connection
In one example, a hygienic fitting assembly is disclosed. The hygienic fitting assembly includes a first fitting member defining an exterior opening, an interior opening, and a passage extending therebetween. The hygienic fitting assembly further includes a second fitting member receivable by the first fitting member with the first and second fitting members configured for removable mechanical attachment with one another along an interface region within the passage. The hygienic fitting assembly further includes a seal formed from a compression controlled and self-lubricating material. The seal is configured to receive an annular feature of one of the first or second fitting members and define sanitary fitting connection therebetween. The sanitary fitting connection is operable to prevent fluid escape toward the interface region during flow of a product between the first and second fitting members.
