FUEL DELIVERY DEVICE
20180347735 · 2018-12-06 · ·

Fluid delivery systems and methods for using fluid delivery systems are rotatable around two axes. In one embodiment, the fluid delivery system has a reduced swing radius and/or a reduced clearance area needed to rotate the fluid delivery device about one of the axes. The reduced swing radius and/or reduced clearance area allow for a more compact footprint of the fluid delivery system and a larger ratio of flow rate of fluid per unit of required clearance area.

PIVOTALLY ADJUSTABLE FLUID COUPLING ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD OF USING SAME
20240353034 · 2024-10-24 ·

A fluid coupling assembly is usable to connect two pipes together, while allowing a limited amount of relative pivotal movement therebetween. The assembly includes three primary components: an inner ring, an outer ring which receives and seats a portion of the inner ring therein, and an outer collar member, which fastens the inner ring to the outer ring. Portions of the described components cooperate to form a modified ball and socket connection, in order to permit such limited pivotal movement. The assembly also includes a number of sealing members for ensuring a fluid seal between the inner and outer rings. The axes of two solid joined pipes form an angle while maintaining a fluid seal at the juncture between the two pipes. A method of joining two pipes using the fluid coupling assembly is also described. The coupling assembly withstands vibrations without causing leak of a pressurized fluid flowing therethrough.

SWIVEL COUPLING AND HOSE ASSEMBLIES AND KITS UTILIZING THE SAME

A swivel coupling assembly includes a first annular member having at least one annular barb, a shoulder and at least one annular groove containing a seal. There is a first bearing surface and a second bearing surface either side of the annular groove. The first and second bearing surfaces have a width equal to or greater than a width of the annular groove. There is a second annular member having an inner surface defining a bore configured to receive the first annular member. When joined, the shoulder of the first annular member frictionally engages the bore of the second annular, thereby allowing rotation. The seal engages with and seals the bore at a location between the ends of the second member. and spaced by a distance of at least the width of the first and second bearing surfaces from the shoulder and the second opening, respectively.
