20200399871 · 2020-12-24 ·

Disclosed are embodiments of a coupling mechanism that can be used to selectively secure two sections of telescopically engaged pipe in a fixed position relative to each other and provide a fluid (e.g., gas and/or liquid) seal between to the coupling mechanism and the two pipes, regardless of whether the pipes are secured in the fixed position or are freely moveable relative to each other. In some embodiments, the coupling mechanism can be used as part of a faucet assembly, which can include an adjustable faucet assembly including the telescopically engaged pipe.

A threaded retainer including a body having a through-bore therein, a first screw thread operatively arranged on an outer surface of the body, wherein, the first screw thread is arranged to secure the threaded retainer to a fluid connector having a second screw thread, the first screw thread corresponding with the second screw thread, a first shoulder arranged on the body, wherein the first shoulder is arranged to abut against a second shoulder of the fluid connector, and an axial gap between the fluid connector and the threaded retainer, wherein the axial gap is formed when the fluid connector is secured to the threaded retainer.

EXTENDABLE SPOOL

An extendable spool is disclosed. The length of the extendable spool is able to continuously varied. The extendable spool accounts for length variances in flow lines by extending the flow line rather than redirecting the flow. Because the flow direction does not make any turns, erosion is minimized on both the extendable spool and downstream parts. The extendable spool is readily scalable from small diameters to large diameters. Because of this, it requires fewer lines and therefore less setup time to account for length differences between large diameter lines.

Telescopic Leaf Blower Extension Apparatus
20200149668 · 2020-05-14 ·

A telescopic leaf blower extension apparatus for extending a leaf blower hose includes a proximal tube that is configured to attach to a flex tube of a leaf blower. A distal tube is coupled to the proximal tube. The distal tube is telescopably coupled to the proximal tube. The distal tube has a retracted position within the proximal tube and an alternate extended position. A clamp means is coupled to the proximal tube and is selectively engageable with the distal tube to prevent the distal tube from moving between the retracted position and the alternate extended position.

TELESCOPIC TUBE ASSEMBLY
20190368637 · 2019-12-05 ·

A telescopic tube assembly includes a telescopic tube subassembly having a first tube and a second tube, a tubular member, a sleeve member, at least one retaining member, an actuating sleeve, and a biasing member for biasing the actuating sleeve to a locked position. When the actuating sleeve is in the locked position, the retaining member is engaged in a cavity of the tubular member to guard against axial movement of the second tube relative to the first tube. When the actuating sleeve is moved to an unlocked position against a biasing force of the basing member, the retaining member is disengaged from the cavity to permit the axial movement of the second tube.

Apparatus and method for removing impurities from water or wastewater

An air grid for supplying air under pressure. The air grid may be used as an air scour system for a filter for removing at least some impurities (e.g., foreign matter of any nature including a solid, a liquid or a gas) from water or wastewater or as an aerator for aerating wastewater in an aeration tank or basin. The air grid includes an adapter for permitting in field adjustment of one or more components (e.g., drop pipe) of the air grid. Preferably, the adapter houses a portion of an air supply header and a portion of a drop pipe such that the air supply header is disposed above the drop pipe. The adapter may include a detachable sealing assembly. A tool may be provided for inserting and/or removing one or more components of the air grid from the operation environment.

COUPLING ARRANGEMENT FOR SCREW COUPLING
20190331263 · 2019-10-31 ·

A coupling arrangement is provided for a screw coupling for liquid conduits of a high-pressure cleaning device. The coupling arrangement is connectable in a liquid-tight manner to a further coupling arrangement of the screw coupling, and includes a conduit piece having a channel for liquid under pressure, a multi-start thread for screwing the coupling arrangement to the further coupling arrangement, and a clamping device which is clampable to a clamping face of the further coupling arrangement. The clamping device includes a dimensionally stable clamping ring mount on which a clamping ring is held, wherein the clamping ring is deformable and adaptable to the shape of the clamping face by pressing onto the clamping face of the further clamping arrangement. In addition, a screw coupling with a coupling arrangement of that kind is provided.

HIGH PRESSURE BI-DIRECTIONAL SEALING SYSTEM
20190316713 · 2019-10-17 ·

In one embodiment, the invention is directed to a high-pressure bi-directional sealing system having circumferentially extending outer support rings (1520, 1900), annular, axial seals (1600, 1800) between the outer support rings (1520, 1900) and a circumferentially extending inner support ring (1700) located between the annular, axial seals (1600, 1800). The outer support rings (1520, 1900), seals (1600, 1800), and circumferentially extending inner support ring (1700) are located within a space between an outer tube (1502) and an inner tube (1504) that is telescopically disposed within the outer tube (1502). Seals (1600) and (1800) are oriented in opposite directions. Specifically, the opening of seal (1600) is facing in a first direction and the opening of seal (1800) is facing in a second direction that is opposite the first direction. This configuration enables the high-pressure bi-directional sealing system to handle pressure in both directions.

SEAL ASSEMBLY
