Flexible pipe joint
A method and apparatus for securing a flexible pipe to a further flexible pipe in an end-to-end configuration, wherein the apparatus includes and the method utilizes an elongate tubular element having a first and second end and an outer surface comprising a raised central region. At least one vent passage extends at least partially across the raised central region.
Flexible double walled hose connection
A flexible conduit for transporting fluids in a fluid system, such a fluid system on an aircraft, and methods of assembling the flexible conduit described. The flexible conduit can include a flexible inner hose for transporting a fluid. The flexible inner hose can be surrounded by a flexible outer wall which can contain any leakage of fluid from the flexible inner hose. The flexible inner hose and the flexible outer wall can be coupled on each end to ferrules. Swage rings can be swaged to secure the flexible inner hose and the flexible outer wall to the ferrules.
Pipe connector with tapered thread nut
A flexible heater connector can include a hose, a nut having a female tapered thread, and a fitting structure. The female tapered thread of the nut can engage a male tapered thread associated with the heater. The fitting structure can include a first portion to mechanically engage an inner wall of the hose, and a second portion mechanically coupled to the nut. The nut can be a swivel nut.
HOSE CONNECTING DEVICE
A hose connecting device has a connector, an inner locking ring, an outer connector and a tubal body. The connector has an insertion section and an engaging section, the engaging section has a size greater than the insertion section, and the engaging section further has a stopping ring at a top end. The inner locking ring is jacketed onto the engaging section of the connector and abutting the stopping ring of the connector. The inner locking ring has an outer threaded section and an abutting portion disposed at a bottom end of the inner locking ring. The outer connector has one of a female connector and a male connector, and a channel, the channel has a positioning step at a middle portion, an inner threaded section disposed below the positioning step of the channel. The tubal body is jacketed onto the insertion section of the connector.
TUBING RETENTION DEVICE
Tubing retention systems are described herein. A tubing retention system includes a spigot, a tubing, and a collar. The spigot includes a spigot body and a spigot extension extending from the spigot body, wherein the spigot extension comprises a flared portion opposite to the spigot body and the spigot body and the spigot extension cooperatively define a spigot lumen. The tubing includes an outer surface and a tubing lumen, wherein a coupling portion of the tubing is disposed around the spigot extension, permitting fluid communication between the tubing lumen and the spigot lumen. The collar is disposed radially around the outer surface of the tubing and axially between the flared portion and the spigot body, wherein the collar radially engages the coupling portion of the tubing disposed around the spigot extension to axially and radially retain the tubing with the spigot.
Swage machine die retainer systems and methods
Techniques for implementing and/or operating a system that includes a pipe fitting to be secured to a pipe segment and a swage machine. The pipe fitting includes a fitting jacket to be conformally deformed around tubing of the pipe segment. The swage machine includes a grab plate that interlocks with the pipe fitting, a die plate, in which a die is to be loaded in the die plate, a swaging actuator secured to the die plate, in which the swaging actuator facilitates conformally deforming the fitting jacket around the tubing of the pipe segment by causing the die plate and the grab plate of the swage machine to move toward one another, and a die retainer actuator secured to the grab plate of the swage machine, in which the die retainer actuator extends through the grab plate toward the die plate and pushes against the die.
PIPE END FITTING WITH IMPROVED VENTING
A pipe end fitting assembly that includes an outer body having an outer surface, an inner surface defining a first bore, and an end surface, and an inner body having an inner surface defining a second bore and an outer surface. A portion of the inner body outer surface is secured to the outer body inner surface. A passage formed in the outer body includes a first portion extending from the end surface and parallel to the first bore, and a second portion extending from the outer body outer surface to the passage first portion. A pipe end is disposed around and secured to a portion of the inner body outer surface. A jacket is disposed around the pipe and has an end secured to the outer body outer surface. The passage portions are in fluid communication with each other and a space between the jacket and the pipe.
Connector for flexible duct, flexible duct with interchangeable end, and method thereof
A flexible duct having a hollow tube shape. The flexible duct includes at least one end, and an opening defined by a first edge of the at least one end and forming a duct inlet or duct outlet. The at least one end includes at least a first attachment and a second attachment, and the first attachment and the second attachment are different. The first attachment and the second attachment can be used independently of one another to connect the at least one end to a first inlet or a first outlet. In one embodiment, a flexible duct includes an attachment that is a cuff. In another embodiment, a connector includes two different attachments and the connector can be affixed to a flexible duct end. In another embodiment, a method includes providing a flexible duct with different attachments at one end of the flexible duct, and flowing air through the flexible duct. In a further embodiment, a method includes providing a connector having two different attachments.
HOSE STRUCTURE WITH ADJUSTABLE OUTLET WATER TEMPERATURE
A hose structure with adjustable water outlet temperature includes a hose body and a water outlet joint assembly arranged at one end of the hose body and configured for connecting a water outlet device. The hose body is provided with through cold and hot water channels. The annular hot water channel surrounds the cold water channel or the annular cold water channel surrounds the hot water channel. A temperature adjusting mechanism is provided in the water outlet joint assembly and configured for adjusting the flow rate of hot water flowing out of the hose structure.
Pipe end fitting with improved venting
A pipe end fitting assembly that includes an outer body having an outer surface, an inner surface defining a first bore, and an end surface, and an inner body having an inner surface defining a second bore and an outer surface.
