System and method for storing and selectively dispensing liquids
The inventive system and method advantageously enable superior preserved storage and selective dispensation of liquids by storing wine (or other liquids) in a pressurized environment to ensure that the stored liquid does not come into contact with air, and then by selectively dispensing a portion of the stored liquid, in accordance with a desired dispensing regime, by utilizing a controlled source of pressure force to apply a sufficient pressure to the pressurized environment to expel the desired volume of the liquid in a pressurized stream directed to a dispensing/pouring interface through a conduit or equivalent delivery system. In at least several novel embodiments thereof, the system and method of the present invention are configured for use with wine-in-bag (“WinB”) products.
System, method and apparatus for ramped retainer for a pipe
A pipe system has a pipe with an axis and a retainer groove formed in an exterior of the pipe near an axial end of the pipe. The pipe system also has a tubular body with an interior and one end sized to receive the axial end of the pipe therein to form a pipe assembly. The pipe system also has a retainer configured to be received in the retainer groove and to be both axially movable and radially movable relative to the retainer groove during formation of the pipe assembly and to retain the pipe and the tubular body in the pipe assembly.

Mechanical fitting for plastic pipe
Spigot device including a spigot formed with exterior gripping teeth and sleeve device to telescope over the spigot. The sleeve device is formed with a radially inwardly opening, distally contracting conical bearing surface which mounts a radially inwardly contractible gripper ring device captive therein, and constructed to be driven radially inwardly by the bearing surface as the sleeve is drawn proximally on the spigot to grip a plastic pipe trapped in the annulus between the sleeve and spigot.
Press fitting assembly
A press fitting assembly is provided that includes: a piping component including a receiving device which includes an open end and a shoulder, the open end comprising a continuous stop; a grip ring positioned within the receiving device abutting the continuous stop and comprising a plurality of opposing teeth; a sealing element positioned within the receiving device and abutting the shoulder, wherein the sealing element comprises at least one lobe; and a separator ring positioned within the receiving device between the sealing element and the grip ring, the ring comprises a base portion and an angled portion. Further, the angled portion is angled toward the sealing element and the shoulder.
PIPE FITTINGS
Improvements to stab-type pipe fittings capable of being inserted onto plastic pipes and provide a leak proof connection are provided. The pipe fittings have an outer casing with pipe ports, a hollow inner casing positioned within the outer casing, a pipe gripper and stiffener positioned within the inner casing. The pipe ports have an elongated lip that straightens a pipe inserted into the fitting. The stiffener provides a multi-compression seal to facilitate the leak proof connection.
Quick coupling for pipes and the like
An intake for quick coupling pipes, to form a joint, including a body defining a central axis and a first channel at least partially centered relative to the central axis to partially house the joint, an annular sealing element movably within the first channel including a plurality of fastening sectors to reciprocally radially move and define release and clamping positions, an extractor partially in the body, movable along the central axis relative to the body and allowing the sealing element to pass from the clamping position to the release position. The body includes an obstruction defining a ring within the first channel. The sealing element defines an interference portion interfering with the obstruction. The obstruction and interference portion form a circular fulcrum around which the fastening sectors rotate and provide the release position as result of opening thrust caused by the extractor or joint passing in the sealing element.
Single action push to connect conduit fitting
A fitting assembly includes a first fitting component having an outboard end that receives the conduit end portion, a second fitting component joined to the first fitting component to define an interior cavity, a seal device disposed in the interior cavity, and a retainer assembled with at least one of the first and second fitting components. The seal device forms a seal between one of the first and second fitting components and an outer surface of a conduit end portion. The retainer includes a gripping portion received in a circumferential groove of the conduit end portion to grip the conduit end portion, and a colleting portion outboard of the gripping portion and configured to apply a colleting force to the outer surface of the conduit end portion at least when an outboard axial load is applied to the conduit.
POLYMER PIPE, A PIPE JOINT INSERT DEVICE, A PIPE JOINT ASSEMBLY, AND METHODS OF FORMING SAME
A polymer pipe has a length between a first end and a second end. The length and the first end have a first diameter and the second end is a belled end having a second diameter larger than the first diameter. An insert device is received within the second end and has an annular body and a spline groove formed in the annular body and facing radially inward. The insert device is pre-installed in the belled end during the belling process.
Push to connect conduit fitting with ferrule
A push to connect fitting includes a body member adapted to receive a conduit end, a conduit comprising a first end that can be axially inserted into the body member and a conduit gripping device attached to an exterior surface of the conduit, and a retainer that retains the conduit in place when said conduit is fully inserted into the body member. Additional embodiments include providing a seal with the fitting that seals the exterior surface of the conduit, an optional load retaining sleeve for the conduit gripping device, and an optional gimbal. The push to connect aspect may be realized in the form of a single action unthreaded mechanical connection.
