QUICK PLUG-IN FASTENER
20220003254 · 2022-01-06 ·

A fastener comprises a receiving part comprising a housing defining a recess configured to receive a head of a plug-in part. The housing comprises at least two locking legs bordering the recess and pivotably mounted on the receiving part. The at least two locking legs each comprise an locking legs and extending along a spring axis. Movement of each actuating section toward each other acts to compress the spring member and open the recess to define an unfastened state. Once the head is inserted into the recess, release of each actuation section enables the spring member to exert a force along the spring axis to push the actuation sections away from each other and move each locking leg section to engage and retain the head to define a fastened state.

A quick connector includes a housing having an insertion recess and a communication hole communicating with the insertion recess and formed in a direction perpendicular to the insertion recess, and a first fixing part having an arrest portion and an insertion guide protruding from the arrest portion in a direction toward an entrance of the insertion recess, wherein the arrest portion is inserted into the communication hole so that a lower end of the arrest portion is disposed in a position corresponding to the insertion recess, the first fixing part being coupled to the housing, so that the quick connector may be applied to a low-pressure side line in a fuel supply line of a vehicle, and since the quick connector has a simple structure, the quick connector may be easily manufactured and may be easily coupled and separated.

COUPLING NOZZLE FOR CRYOGENIC FLUID
20230288002 · 2023-09-14 ·

Methods and apparatus are disclosed for a coupling nozzle for cryogenic fluid. A coupling nozzle includes a flow body. The coupling nozzle includes a mount, a flow control assembly, and a pneumatic cylinder. The pneumatic cylinder includes a cylinder body and a shaft. The shaft is coupled to and configured to actuate the flow body. The coupling nozzle includes a first locking mechanism coupled to the mount and configured to secure the coupling nozzle to a receptacle in a locked position. When the first locking mechanism is in the locked position, the shaft is configured to actuate the flow control assembly. The coupling nozzle includes a redundant locking mechanism including one or more feet and a lock. The one or more feet are configured to engage the lock to prevent the first locking mechanism from transitioning from the locked position when the shaft is in the extended position.

Quick connect coupling devices for fluid carriers

A coupling device is provided for mounting on a bib of a faucet to releasably secure a hose or some other component to the bib. The coupling device includes an engagement surface, a gasket ring, a clamp assembly and a locking assembly. The coupling device is configured so that the clamp assembly can be actuated to mount the coupling device on the bib. The gasket ring is configured to be compressed between the engagement surface and the bib to enable liquid to flow from the bib into the coupling device and out of it into the hose or other component without leakage. The locking assembly is configured to lock the coupling device on the bib, but is releasable when desired to dismount the coupling device from the bib.

LOCKING FLUID CONNECTION WITH SEAL

A remotely-operated fluid connection assembly to hold higher internal pressures in larger diameters. The assembly comprises a fluid connection adapter and a fluid connection housing assembly. When the adapter enters the housing assembly: (A) locking elements on the housing assembly constrict about the adapter; and (B) at least a first seal section on the adapter sealingly contacts a first seal bore on the housing assembly. Progressive engagement of a locking ring upon the locking elements urges the locking elements to tighten against the adapter. Internal pressure encourages adapter displacement, which then further tightens the adapter against the locking elements as now restrained by the locking ring. Internal pressure further encourages the first seal section on the adapter to expand radially to tighten the contact with the first seal bore in the housing assembly.

Articulated joint connection device, and coupling device with a coupling bar with coupling bar parts which can be connected via an articulated joint connection device

An articulated joint connection device force-transmits the connection of two components, each extending along a common longitudinal axis in a first working position, and for pivoting one of the two components relative to the other component about a pivot axis, which is arranged perpendicularly and parallel to the longitudinal axis, into at least one other, second working position. Furthermore, a coupling device, particularly for rail vehicles, has a coupling bar with two components which are coupled together via such an articulated joint connection device. The design configuration of the coupling elements is characterized by a drawbar sleeve joint connection.
