Locking Connector Assembly
A connector having a male component and a female component. The male component has a first tubular section, a second tubular section, and a midsection between the first tubular section and the second tubular section. The female component is connected to the second tubular section of the male component upon relative rotational movement between the male component and the female component and disconnected from the second tubular section of the male component upon relative rotational movement between the male component and the female component in a direction opposite to the direction when the male component and the female component are being connected. The female component has a bearing surface bearing against the midsection of the male component in a first position of the bearing surface and is spaced from the midsection of the male component in other positions of the female component.
VENTILATION SYSTEMS
Ventilation systems are disclosed that include a base unit having a mounting platform connecting the base unit to a surface. Such base units have a base collar that extends away from the mounting platform and forms a perimeter of a opening through the base unit. Such ventilation systems include a fan unit that has a fan housing and a fan. The fan housing is configured to receive air through an inlet and expel air through an outlet, and the fan is capable of moving air from the inlet to the outlet. Such ventilation systems also include a quick connect interface that has a base feature and a fan housing feature. The base feature is integrated into the base unit, and the fan housing feature integrated into the fan unit; both are capable of detachably connecting together to secure the fan unit to the base unit.
CONVEX MALE FITTING AND SYSTEMS
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a male connector for establishing a line-seal for transport of fluids between pipes. The male connector is structured to increase a seating pressure of the line-seal. The male connector comprises a male portion provided at one end of the male connector. The male portion typically comprises a conical sealing frustum provided at one end of the male connector, such that the conical sealing frustum comprises convex sides. Moreover, the male connector is structured to be operatively coupled to a predetermined female connector such that the conical sealing frustum forms a substantially line-seal with the predetermined female connector for transport of a process fluid therethrough.
Integrated piping conduit with adapter device and method
Embodiments of an integrated piping conduit in accordance with aspects of the present invention include a push-to-connect fitting integrated with an adaptor device and associated methods. Embodiments include an adaptor having a body portion, and an ear member extending at least partially radially outwardly and at least partially axially outwardly from the outer surface of the body portion.
PIPE FITTING APPARATUS AND METHODS
A pipe fitting includes a socket that receives an end of a pipe section therein such that a gap exists between an outer surface of the pipe section and an inner surface of the socket. A pair of ports extend through the socket and are in fluid communication with the gap. A clamp secures the pipe section within the socket as a bonding agent is extruded into the gap via a port. The clamp includes a pair of arcuate segments, each having an inner circumferential wall, first and second end portions, and an elongated sealing member. Each arcuate segment includes a plurality of spring-loaded devices, each having a distal end portion extending through the inner circumferential wall that is urged into contact with the pipe section outer surface.
Quick connector for end-to-end coupling of industrial conduit sections
A compression-type fitting system for quick connection of two conduits. The system includes a compression body configured to receive a first conduit and a second conduit therein. The system includes a compression lock nut to engage an outer surface of the compression body. Upon tightening, a continuous ring within the compression body facilitates forming a seal between the compression body and the first conduit.
Integrated Piping Conduit with Adaptor Device and Method
Embodiments of an integrated piping conduit in accordance with aspects of the present invention include a push-to-connect fitting integrated with an adaptor device and associated methods. Embodiments include an adaptor having a body portion, and an ear member extending at least partially radially outwardly and at least partially axially outwardly from the outer surface of the body portion.
