Aseptic coupling devices
Formation of a sterile connection includes inserting a first aseptic coupling device into a second aseptic coupling device while a locking ring of the first aseptic device is in an indexed initial position, rotating the locking ring to a secured position in which a compressive force is created and in which a first membrane from the first aseptic coupling device and a second membrane from the second aseptic coupling device can removed thereby resulting in a first a first sealing member of the first aseptic coupling device sealing with a second sealing member of the second aseptic coupling device to form a sterile fluid passageway.
Method of connecting a vent tube to a bottling machine
A method of connecting a vent tube to a bottling machine comprising providing a vent tube having a vent tube alignment mechanism, a receiver defining a through-opening and a receiver alignment mechanism, and a biasing mechanism for biasing against at least a portion of the vent tube. Aligning the vent tube with the through-opening and the vent tube alignment mechanism with the receiver alignment mechanism, inserting the vent tube into the receiver against the biasing mechanism, rotating the vent tube such that the vent tube alignment mechanism is not aligned with the receiver alignment mechanism, and locking the vent tube to the receiver using the biasing mechanism to bias the vent tube alignment mechanism out of alignment with the receiver alignment mechanism to form a positive locking feature that keeps the vent tube connected to the receiver throughout bottling machine operations.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING A COOLING NOZZLE TO A COOLING LUBRICANT SUPPLY
A device for connecting a cooling nozzle to a cooling lubricant supply for a grinding machine includes a central axis, a housing arranged for receiving the cooling nozzle, a rotary-linear transmission and a tube section. The rotary-linear transmission has a drive element, pivotable about the central axis, and a manual lever fixed to the drive element. The tube section is rotationally fixed in the housing and movable along the central axis by the rotary-linear transmission to be pressed against the cooling nozzle. The rotary-linear transmission may be a self-locking transmission. The drive element may have a thread structure which extends over less than a full revolution.
COMPACT AND DEMOUNTABLE FLUID CONNECTION DEVICE
A connection device for connecting a tubular connector provided with an annular collar to an item of equipment comprising a passage, the connection device comprising:—a connection end fitting connecting to the passage of the item of equipment, the connection end fitting being formed by a tubular body with a head mounted thereon, the head being provided with a through-opening and comprising an ellipsoidal annular groove;—a locking ring having at least two longitudinal flexible legs for insertion into the connection end fitting, each having an outer surface bearing at least one lug intended to engage in the annular groove in order to hold the locking ring secured to the connection end fitting. The two flexible legs can be deformed and closed on the tubular connector in order to abut their free ends against the collar when the male connector is inserted longitudinally into the locking ring.
