TUBE QUICK-RELEASE ASSEMBLY
A tube quick-release assembly includes an outer socket and an inner plug. The inner plug is movably inserted in the outer socket. An upper portion of the outer socket is formed with two opposing engaging openings. An engaging buckle is fitted on the inner plug. The engaging buckle is provided with two opposing engaging legs having hooks and flaring outward. The hooks of the engaging buckle radially engage with the two engaging openings of the outer socket to realize a quick connection of tubes. The two hooks of the engaging buckle can be pressed inward to realize a quick disconnection of tubes.
HIGH PRESSURE REMOTE CONNECTOR WITH SELF-ALIGNING GEOMETRY
A connector can include multiple circumferentially distributed engagement structures which clamp two hubs together, and a biasing device which biases the engagement structures toward an open configuration thereof, in which the hubs are separable from each other. Another connector can include multiple circumferentially distributed engagement structures, each having a recess which receives hubs therein, and a sleeve which encircles the engagement structures and prevents the engagement structures from displacing radially outward from an open configuration thereof, in which the hubs are separable from each other. A method of making a connection to a wellhead can include applying pressure to a connector, thereby allowing multiple circumferentially distributed engagement structures to displace outward to an open configuration thereof, and displacing one hub of the connector into contact with another hub secured to the wellhead, the engagement structures axially aligning the hubs during the displacing.
Poppet assembly for use in a subsea connection system
A subsea connection system for connecting to a hub has a body with an interior passageway, a collet having a plurality of collet segments, an outer sleeve overlying the collet, and a poppet valve assembly positioned within the interior passageway of the body. The plurality of collet segments are movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The poppet valve assembly is movable between an open position and a closed position in which the open position allows a fluid to flow through the interior passageway and the closed position blocks a flow of fluid through the interior passageway. The outer sleeve is movable so as to cause the plurality of collet segments to join to a hub.
COUPLER OF GREASE GUN
A coupler connected a hose of a grease gun includes a body having a path defined therethrough. A check valve unit and a sealing unit are located in the body. The check valve includes a spring which biases the sealing unit. A groove is defined in an outer surface of the body. A socket is mounted to the body and multiple pawls are received in the socket. The pawls each have a first end engaged with the groove, and a second end of each pawl is controlled to be connected to a fitting member. The socket has a flange extending from the inner periphery. The second ends of the pawls removably contact the flange. A trigger is pivotably connected to the body and drives the socket which is moved by pivoting the trigger so as to control the pawls to engaged with or release the fitting member.
QUICK CONNECTOR WITH PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL ZONES
A quick connect fluid connector that acts as the connection between a filling line and a gas cylinder for use in gas filling and/or evacuation processes. The fluid connector supplies a gas or vacuum to one or more typical sealing zones of the fluid connector to create one or more pressure differential zones having a pressure that is greater than ambient pressure to act as a barrier to prevent ingress of contaminants into the primary flow of gas through the fluid connector or less than ambient pressure to prevent egress of gas from the primary flow of gas into the surrounding environment.
QUICK DISCONNECT COUPLING FOR CONDUIT
A coupling includes a housing having a wall defining an interior space and extending along a central longitudinal axis. A ring is movably mounted with respect to the wall. At least one moveable member has an engagement surface for engaging with an adapter that is positionable within the interior space of the housing. One or more ramps are defined on the ring for (i) moving the engagement surface of the moveable member toward the central longitudinal axis upon moving the ring in one direction in order to engage the coupling to the adapter, and (ii) moving the engagement surface of the moveable member away from the central longitudinal axis upon moving the ring in an opposite direction in order to disengage the coupling from the adapter.
COLLET SECURING DEVICE FOR JOINING TWO FLUID LINES AND PROVIDING LATERAL SUPPORT AT THE CONNECTION OF THE TWO FLUID LINES
A fluid line support system includes a fluid line and a collet having an insertion end and a thickened portion having a biased end. A fluid valve has a valve aperture that receives the insertion end of the collet. A collet securing device has a fluid line portion that engages the wall of the fluid line, wherein at least the fluid line portion encircles the wall and is slidably engaged with the wall to define a loose position and a securing position. A collet portion of the collet securing device engages the retaining portion of the fluid valve when in the securing position. When in the securing position, the fluid line portion engages the biased end of the collet, wherein the fluid line and collet portions bias the retaining portion and biased end toward one another such that the insertion end is positioned at a final insertion depth.
Connector device for use in wireline intervention operations
A wireline connector device (10) for use in wireline intervention operations comprises a housing (18) connected to a first wireline conduit (L), a piston sleeve (46) located within the housing, and a collet device (60) configured to receive and retain a second wireline conduit, the collet device having a plurality of collet fingers (58) arranged within the piston sleeve, which is movable within the housing to open and close the collet fingers. Optionally a restrictor (57) can be configured to control the movement of the piston sleeve, and can be adjustable to lock the piston sleeve in the second position when the collet fingers are closed around the second wireline conduit. Typically at least one indicator rod (55) projects from the housing, and the piston sleeve engages indictor rod in the second position.
