QUICK CONNECT COUPLING DEVICES FOR FLUID CARRIERS
A coupling device is provided for mounting on a bib of a faucet to releasably secure a hose or some other component to the bib. The coupling device includes an engagement surface, a gasket ring, a clamp assembly and a locking assembly. The coupling device is configured so that the clamp assembly can be actuated to mount the coupling device on the bib. The gasket ring is configured to be compressed between the engagement surface and the bib to enable liquid to flow from the bib into the coupling device and out of it into the hose or other component without leakage. The locking assembly is configured to lock the coupling device on the bib, but is releasable when desired to dismount the coupling device from the bib.
INTERNAL THREAD GRIP FLUID CONNECTOR
A fluid connector that connects a first fluid system with a fluid port of a second fluid system for transferring fluids, including gaseous or liquid fluids, between the first and second fluid systems. The fluid connector can be used with differently configured, non-matching threaded fluid ports and allow for misalignment/tipping of the fluid connector to maintain a seal with the fluid port.
Quick disconnect coupling
A quick disconnect coupling for connecting a tube to another structure, such as a structure defining a port. The quick disconnect coupling may include a tube including a retention shoulder, a swivel rotatably disposed on the tube, and an adapter defining a bore for receiving a portion of the tube. The swivel may be engageable with the adapter to trap the retention shoulder between the swivel and the adapter. The adapter may be engageable with a receiving structure defining a port and the port may be in fluid communication with a lumen of the tube when the swivel is engaged with the adapter.
Air chuck
An air chuck for facilitating the connection of a pneumatic hose with a threaded stem of a tire valve includes a housing with an air passage. The housing includes an air inlet port connectable to the pneumatic hose, and an air outlet passage to receive the threaded stem of the tire valve. A clamping member is mounted externally about the outlet passage and includes a hollow tubular member, a front end portion of which terminates in a plurality of separate, radially deflectable fingers, a free end portion of each finger extending towards the discharge end of the outlet passage. The free end portions of each finger define an aperture for receiving the threaded stem of the tire valve. The size of the aperture is variable by the movement of a sleeve, slidable over the body of the housing and the clamping member.
Thread clamping coupler device
A hose coupler is described capable of quick connection and disconnection with only a small amount of rotation required to achieve a fluid-tight seal. A plurality of threaded segments are arranged about a central axis of the coupler into a segment set. Such segments comprise a flexible, elastic material that is capable bending towards or away from the central axis under an applied force but returns to their normal as-manufactured shape upon removal of the applied force. Ease of connection and disconnection without the requirement for substantial force to be applied is one of the salient advantages of the coupler described herein.
Rapid-connect coupler with a product flow restrictor
A rapid-connect coupler includes: an end fitting for conveying a fluid stream; a probe for conveying the fluid stream; a valve configured to occupy a closed position blocking fluid communication between the probe and the end fitting and an open position enabling fluid communication between the probe and the end fitting; a handle configured to actuate the valve between the closed and open positions; a sleeve moveable between a first sleeve position and a second sleeve position. The sleeve, in the first sleeve position, is configured to prevent the handle from actuating the valve from the closed position to the open position.
Faucet mounting mechanism
A faucet mounting mechanism includes a faucet body, a pipe joint, a nut, and a fastening seat. A bottom of an inner ring of the nut has a first inclined surface. The fastening seat is mated with the nut. The fastening seat has a second inclined surface. An outer ring of the fastening seat is provided with at least two fastening buckles. The fastening buckles are tightly mated with an inner wall of the nut. Through the cooperation of the nut and the fastening seat, the nut and the pipe joint can be assembled or disassembled quickly.
