QUICK CONNECT RELEASE SYSTEM FOR A FLUID COUPLING

A quick connect and quick disconnect adaptor for a fluid coupling system is provided. The adaptor includes a first half having a center point, and a sidewall at least partially defining a plurality of bores. Each of the bores contains an aperture, and each of the bores terminates at the center point. The first half further includes a plurality of release tabs. Each release tab is configured to resiliently deflect through an aperture, and each release tab terminates at the center point. The adaptor further includes a second half, which is at least partially symmetric to the first half.

Coupling nozzle for cryogenic fluid

Methods and apparatus are disclosed for a coupling nozzle for cryogenic fluid. An example nozzle comprises a flow body defining a conduit, an inlet, and an outlet. A pneumatic cylinder is configured to slide between an extended position and a contracted position. The pneumatic cylinder is coupled to and configured to actuate the flow body. A locking mechanism is configured to secure the coupling nozzle to a receptacle. A flow control assembly comprises a valve seat fixed to the flow body adjacent the inlet and a plug configured to slide. When the locking mechanism is locked and the pneumatic cylinder actuates to the extended position, the valve seat is to disengage from the plug to open the flow control assembly. When the locking mechanism is locked and the pneumatic cylinder actuates to the contracted position, the valve seat is to engage the plug to close the flow control assembly.

Safety coupling for vehicle exhaust extraction system

A safety coupling assembly can be used to connect segments of a conduit, such as a hose or a flexible pipe. The safety coupling assembly comprises a female member and a male member, which are held together by spring operated toggle latches. The force required for connecting the female member with the male member of the safety coupling assembly can be selected independent from the force required for disconnecting the male member form the female member.

FLUID COUPLINGS

Some fluid coupling devices described herein are configured for use in fluid systems for purposes of providing a sterile connection for drug delivery. In some embodiments, the fluid coupling devices can be implemented as multi-use, sterile fluid coupling devices that are configured to reduce the likelihood of fluid spillage when being disconnected.

ADAPTER TOOL FOR COUPLING A BEND STIFFENER WITH INTERFACE FOR BELL MOUTHS OF MODELS WITH BSN900E TYPE CONNECTION IN A DIVERLESS BELL MOUTH (BSDL) AND INTERCONNECTION METHODS

In order to achieve the objects described above, the present invention provides an adapter tool for coupling a ben stiffener with interface for bell mouths of models with connection type BSN900E in a diverless bell mouth (BSDL), consisting of a adapter split ring (1), guide pin holes (C), fastener eyes (D), and through holes (E). The adapter tool is capable of keeping interchangeability and flexibility between projects or project phases, even if different bellmouth models are used. The interconnection method between the helmet (9) and the adapter split ring (1) can be done by direct attachment by bolt, or by attachment by ring/rod support. Both interconnections can be made on board a flexible line launching vessel, in the case of reusing lines from other projects, or at the factory, in the case of sharing new flexible lines.

FLUID CONNECTION ASSEMBLY WITH ADAPTER RELEASE

A remotely-operated fluid connection assembly to hold higher internal pressures in larger diameters. The assembly comprises a fluid connection adapter and a fluid connection housing assembly. When the adapter enters the housing assembly: (A) locking elements on the housing assembly constrict about the adapter; and (B) a first seal section on the adapter sealingly contacts a first seal bore on the housing assembly. Progressive engagement of a locking ring tightens the locking elements against the adapter. Internal pressure further tightens the adapter against the locking elements and the first seal section against the first seal bore. The fluid connection adapter also provides a release collar in adapter release embodiments. Extension of the locking ring away from the fluid connection housing during disengagement contacts the release collar and separates the fluid connection adapter from the fluid connection housing assembly.
