Fluid line coupling
09745926 · 2017-08-29 · ·

A fluid line coupling for a mechanical and fluidic coupling may include a fluid-carrying first component and a fluid-carrying second component. A pipe body may be at least one of integrated with and attached to the first component. A connection piece may be arranged coaxially to the pipe body in an inserted position, the connection piece being at least one of integrated with and attached to the second component. A securing clip may be disposed on an outer side of the pipe body and surround the pipe body in a circumferential direction at least 180°. The securing clip may be radially adjustable relative to the pipe body between a securing position in which the connection piece is secured to the pipe body in the inserted position, and a releasing position in which the connection piece is unsecured to the pipe body in the inserted position.

Fluid interaction device, fluid interaction arrangement and method for producing same

A fluid interaction device for establishing an interaction with a fluid, particularly a brake fluid or a fuel fluid. A housing member accommodates a fluid interaction portion. The fluid interaction portion is adapted to interact with a fluid within the housing member. The housing member further comprises a connection portion which can be connected to a fluid supply element. The connection portion is formed as a weldable, tubular end portion so that the housing member can be connected to a joining portion of the fluid supply element by means of a welded joint.

A lock member is provided in a housing movably between a standby position and a connected position. In a state wherein the lock member is locked in the standby position, when a pipe is inserted into an opening portion of the housing, the lock member is unlocked so as to be movable into the connected position; however, a tip portion of a detection stopper abuts against a flange portion of the pipe so as to prevent the lock member from moving into the connected position. Next, when the pipe is inserted further, and the flange portion passes the position of the detection stopper, the detection stopper moves into the connected position together with the lock member.

Riser cap and irrigation piping system using same

A polymeric riser cap member includes a central tubular section defining a generally cylindrical bore for receiving a sprinkler riser, the central tubular section having open top and bottom ends, and an annular skirt coaxial with the central tubular section and having an inner diameter larger than an inner diameter of the central tubular section. The annular skirt has an inner surface having internal threads threadably connectable with the externally threaded surface of a tubular riser adapter member of a tubular coupler. The bottom end of the central tubular section has an annular projection disposed opposite and spaced from a portion of the annular skirt. The riser cap member includes an annular recess adapted to receive a seal located in a wall extending laterally between the annular skirt and the annular projection.

VALVE CONNECTOR SWITCHABLE BETWEEN LOCKING AND RELEASING
20210388927 · 2021-12-16 ·

A valve connector includes a housing and a pressing device. The housing includes an operative end, a coupling end, and a through-hole extending from the operative end through the coupling end. The pressing device includes a push seat received in the through-hole and located between the lever and the coupling end and a lever abutting against the push seat and pivotably connected to the housing. The push seat includes a first passageway. The lever includes a second passageway and is operable to move the push seat. When the lever is in a release position, the first passageway does not intercommunicate with the second passageway. When the lever moves from the release position to a locking position, the push seat moves towards the coupling end, and the first passageway intercommunicates with the second passageway when the lever is in the locking position.

Plug-type connector for media lines

A plug-type connector for media lines having a coupling part into which a plug part can be inserted. The plug part can be retainingly engaged in the coupling part by a retaining clip that has at least two pairs of spring arms. The clip can be premounted on the coupling part by latching of the spring arms. The clip is U-shaped wherein legs of the U-shape form the two pairs of spring arms, which pairs are arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction and are separated by a slot and are elastic in the radial and axial directions. The first pair of the spring arms interlockingly blocks the plug part against being pulling out of the coupling part, and the second pair of spring arms holds the retaining clip captively in the coupling part in pre-assembly and assembly positions.

Fluid connectors for modular cooling systems

A method for assembling a modular cooling system includes attaching a support manifold to a first rail of an equipment rack, the support manifold defining a coolant supply channel and a coolant return channel; and mounting a first cold plate to the support manifold including engaging a manifold supply connector with a plate supply connector in fluid communication, the manifold supply connector being connected in fluid communication with the coolant supply channel of the support manifold, the plate supply connector being connected in fluid communication with a cooling system disposed within the first cold plate.

CONNECTOR HAVING A GUIDED PILOT

A connector and process for coupling a tube and the resulting assembly is disclosed. A receptacle includes a pilot in a mounting position. The pilot including an indicator piece and guide members each located in a respective channel on the receptacle and slidable within the channels from the mounting position to a final position. A retention clip having legs is urged into a spread condition during a transition between the mounting position and the final position wherein in the final position the legs of the retention clip retract to a relaxed condition, the indicator piece becomes visible on the receptacle and the first and second guide members latch the pilot to the receptacle.

PIPE CONNECTOR

An apparatus for connecting two pipes in fluid communication includes a connector body having opposing open ends, with each open end configured for receiving a free end of a pipe, and a mechanical interlock arrangement for preventing or limiting axial movement of the connector body relative to a free end of a pipe when the free end of the pipe is received in an open end of the connector body. A mechanical seal arrangement provides a metal-to-metal seal between a pipe inserted into one of the open ends and the connector body.

VALVE DEVICE WITH BALL LOCKS
20230265955 · 2023-08-24 ·

A valve device (20) includes male and female housings (22, 24) that together define a fluid through-passage (28). The male and female housings have, respectively, exterior and interior annular channels (22a, 24a). The male housing is receivable into the female housing such that the exterior and interior annular channels together define a toroidal tube. First and second valve elements (30,32) are disposed, respectively, in the male and female housings. Ball locks (36) are receivable into the toroidal tube and axially lock the male and female housings together. A lock (40) engageable when the first and second valve elements are in functional alignment and which when engaged rotationally locks the male and female housings.
