Pipe fitting installation device
A portable assembly for securing a plastic fitting to a plastic pipe by employing fusion or thermal sealing is disclosed. The assembly is secured to the outer circumference of a plastic pipe at a desired location. The assembly can be secured at any longitudinal and lateral position along a plastic pipe. A heater heats both the pipe and the fitting to the point where they begin to melt. The heater is then removed and the fitting is pressed onto the surface of the pipe, thus fusing the fitting to the pipe. After cooling, the assembly is removed and the surface of the pipe within the interior of the fitting is drilled or removed. This now enables fluid within the pipe to be sent to the fitting and onto distribution lines which are connected to the fitting.

Heating element geometry for use in a tapping saddle
A tapping saddle for a plastic main pipe carrying a medium includes a stub having a central axis, a saddle piece, and a drill. The drill is configured to be moved axially in the stub. A heating element geometry, which is used for welding the tapping saddle to a main tube outer circumference, is arranged on an inside diameter of the saddle piece. The heating element geometry has a winding having an outer winding region and an inner winding region. In the inner winding region, the winding extends in meandering loops along a circle concentric with the central axis of the stub.
Pipe clamp
A pipe clamp for a main pipe conveying a medium. The pipe clamp includes a saddle member and bearing elements, wherein the bearing elements are arranged on the saddle member. The pipe clamp further includes a tension unit, wherein the tension unit comprises at least one band for encircling the main pipe, a band linkage, and a clamping lever. The band linkage and the clamping lever are each arranged at one end of the at least one band and are opposite one another. An extension is arranged on the clamping lever, and the extension is configured to be removed from the clamping lever after the tension unit is firmly clamped on the main pipe.

PLASTIC PIPELINE
The invention relates to a plastic pipeline (1), having at least one radial branch. The invention is based on the object of providing a plastic pipeline (1) having a radial branch (4, 5) that avoids the problems of the known configurations. This object is achieved by the plastic pipeline (1) having in the intended region of the branching a bore (2) and a saddle-shaped plastic element (4, 5) with a through-bore (6), the through-bore (6) of the saddle-shaped plastic element (4, 5) being in line with the bore (2) in the plastic pipeline (1) and the saddle-shaped plastic element (4, 5) being formed from a plastics material that can be fused with the material of the plastic pipeline (1), and the saddle-shaped plastic element (4, 5) being connected to the plastic pipeline (1) in a pressure- and fluid-tight manner.
CPVC pipe fitting having improved resistance to environmental stress cracking
The disclosed technology relates to a plastic compound suitable for preparing articles, such as pipe fittings and valves, with good physical properties, such as impact strength, and resistance to environmental stress cracking (ESC). In particular, the technology relates to a vinyl chloride resin, which includes chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) homopolymer. Furthermore, the invention relates to vinyl chloride homopolymer compounds containing the vinyl chloride homopolymer resin, and articles made from such compounds, which compounds meet 23447 cell classifications under ASTM D1784.
