Clamp and spike for flexible conduit
A clamp and spike combination for use in conjunction with a flexible conduit, comprising a spike including an inlet rod with a sharpened tip for penetration into the conduit, an outlet rod connected to the inlet rod, the outlet rod having a barbed tip for attachment to a tube. The bore extends through the rods from the sharpened tip to the barbed tip, whereby the spike provides a channel for the passage of fluid. Further included, a clamp including two legs extending substantially parallel with each other and spaced apart from each other by a distance, an apex portion connecting the two legs to each other so that the clamp is shaped substantially in the form of an inverted U; and an opening in the apex portion, the opening being sized to receive the inlet rod of the spike.
Irrigation saddle annular seal face
A pipe coupler having a saddle for connecting to a riser adapter for use in an irrigation system to distribute water. A dynamic seal is positioned in a circumferential channel of the riser adapter on the outer surface of a flange or projection that is positioned into the circular mount of the saddle. In response to water pressure against the dynamic seal, the dynamic seals the connection between the riser adapter and the saddle by sealing against the annular sealing face on the inner circumference of a circular mount of the saddle. The dynamic seal is an O-ring in preferred embodiments.
Wide range tapping sleeve
A tapping sleeve for a pipe element can include first and second sleeve portions, each defining a first axial end, a second axial end, a first side end, a second side end, and an arcuate portion extending between the first side end and the second side end; the second sleeve portion hingedly secured to the first sleeve portion; and a connecting element joining the first side ends of the first and second sleeve portions; wherein the connecting element, the first side end of the first sleeve portion, and the first side end of the second sleeve portion define at least a portion of a hinge of the tapping sleeve, a position of the first sleeve portion with respect to the second sleeve portion in an assembled condition in a circumferential direction of the tapping sleeve being different between the at least two assembled conditions of the hinge.
