The anchor includes an inflation conduit, a head, and a foot. The inflation conduit has a first end, a second end, and a passage. The second end is opposite the first end. The passage extends from the first end toward the second end. The head is coupled to the first end of the inflation conduit. The head includes an opening in fluid communication with the passage. The foot is coupled to the second end of the inflation conduit. The inflatable plug is coupled to the anchor. The inflatable plug includes an interior chamber. The interior chamber is in fluid communication with the passage. The head and the foot are configured to engage diametrically opposed sections of the pipe.

Embodiments of a polyethylene (“PE”) pipe servicing system of this disclosure may include a fusible PE fitting (F) providing a branch connection to a PE pipeline section or run (P), a valve (10) connected to the fitting and including quick connect/disconnect means, and a machine connectable to the valve including complementary quick connect/disconnect means. The quick connect means provide for full scope of operation, including cleaning, fusion, cool down, hot tap, plugging, and completion. No squeezing is used. The quick connect/disconnect means may include a first portion 20 of a cam profile and a second portion 40 of the cam profile complementary to that of the first. The machine may be a drilling or hot tapping machine (30T), a plugging machine (30P), or a completion machine (30C), and their associated tools. The valve and machine are more lightweight and faster and easier to use than the prior art.

A method includes fitting each of a plurality of key components into a corresponding internal drive recess of a plurality of threaded retainers covering access ports in a fluid end of a pump, coupling a single locking bar to each of the plurality of key components to form an anti-rotation system; and inhibiting rotation of the plurality of threaded retainers during operation of the pump using the anti-rotation system.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to retainer nut locking apparatus and methods for fluid ends, and associated components thereof. In one implementation, a method of operating a fluid end includes installing a retainer nut assembly on a fluid end body by turning a retainer nut in an installation direction and into a bore formed in the fluid end body. The retainer nut has a first surface that faces away from the fluid end body and a second surface that faces that fluid end body. The method also includes rotating a locking tab in a locking direction and into contact with an inner surface of the fluid end body. The locking direction is opposite of the installation direction. The locking tab is disposed inside the bore and adjacent to the second surface of the retainer nut.

Fitting for connecting a main pipe liner to a branch conduit

A fitting for connecting a branch conduit to a liner installed in a main pipe is configured to mechanically connect to the branch conduit as it is inserted into the branch conduit from inside the main pipe. The mechanical connection is established without rotating the fitting. The fitting can include a body having an outer shaft section for being received in the branch conduit and an inner flange section for opposing the liner within the main pipe. The fastener include one or more teeth that extend radially from the exterior of the shaft section. The teeth can be secured to the shaft section by deforming portions of the fitting body against the teeth. The flange section supports a gasket for sealing against the liner when the fitting is installed. The flange section can include a rim that maintains the gasket in the proper position.
