A one-piece shield for temporarily covering the upper inlet of a downspout. The shield includes a single sheet of resilient material, with a pair of tabs that cooperate with a slot in the sheet. The sheet is rolled up to create a tubular portion. One of the tabs is turned into the tubular portion to block the passage into the tubular portion, and the other tab cooperates with the slot to keep the device rolled up, so that the tubular portion blocks entry of debris into the downspout. The device is unrolled after use, and stored flat.

A heat exchange plug that plugs the aperture of a tubesheet with a leaking tube while also securing the tube against movement that could damage other tubes of the tubesheet. A cylindrical housing member with two different diameter body section can be inserted so that the wider diameter section is positioned in the aperture of the tubesheet and the smaller diameter section is located in the tube. An eccentric ring at the end of the housing member can engage the tube and prevent rotation as an insert member is advanced into the rear of the housing member via a threaded shank of the insert member that engages a threaded inner bore of the housing member. A ramped surface of the housing member deforms the wall of the larger diameter section of the housing member outwardly to plug the aperture while the smaller diameter section secures the tube in place.

A casing constituting a housing type pipe joint is divided into an inner casing which externally fits to a sealing member to restrain a shape of a sealing member and an outer casing which is prepared outside the inner casing, engages with a pair of tubular members with their tube ends opposing each other inside the sealing member and presses the inner casing against the sealing member, these inner and outer casings being constituted by plural segments, each of which is formed as an integrated object from a metal plate, and a plate thickness of the inner casing is equal to or larger than a plate thickness of the outer casing. Thereby, a housing type pipe joint which can achieve both a function to restrain a shape of a sealing member and a function to engage tubular members at a sufficiently high level and is compact and lightweight is provided.

A system and method for painting a component (3) of a vehicle brake (1) includes a sealing plug (7) inserted into a recess (5), the recess extending in the direction of a longitudinal axis (L) and which has an inner face (9) which is intended to be kept free from paint. The method include providing the component (3) and introducing a sealing plug (7) into the recess (5) of the component. The sealing plug (7) has at least one sealing face (11a-11h) and the sealing face (11a-11h) is disposed inside the recess (5). The sealing face is moved into sealing abutment with the inner face (9) in a radial direction. The method includes painting the component (3) after the sealing plug (7) has been introduced. The sealing plug blocks paint from being deposited on the inner face.

A cover for a connector, wherein the cover is adapted to be locateable over at least a portion of the connector, and wherein the connector has a fluid pathway formed therethrough. The connector has a first portion and a second portion, and wherein, when the cover is located over the portion of the connector, ingress of impurities into the fluid pathway is prevented.

A sealing element for pipes comprises a body made up of a section of stem that has a circular plant head region at one end that acts as a grip area. The stem section includes in a downward direction from the head region a plurality of parallel positioning regions with a substantially discoidal shape, having a primary positioning region that has a larger diameter than remaining secondary positioning regions. The primary positioning region has two sections devoid of material diametrically opposed to each other, so as to define two opposite fins capable of bending. A positioning region adjacent to the primary positioning region in a direction to head region has two sections devoid of material which are offset by 90 degrees with respect to the positioning of the two sections devoid of material of the region of primary positioning.

The present disclosure relates to an expansion plug assembly, comprising a body with a channel to be plugged, the channel being defined by a channel wall which has a circumferential groove, a diameter of the groove being larger than a diameter of the channel, and a bushing for inserting into the channel of the body. The bushing comprises an orifice with a partially surrounding bushing wall, the bushing wall having a first bushing wall section having at least a bendable fin for forming a form-fit connection with the circumferential groove, and a tapered pin configured to bend up the bendable fin when inserted into the orifice of the bushing such that the bendable fin forms the form-fit connection with the circumferential groove when the bushing is inserted into the channel.

A structure for forming a fluid path is provided. The structure for forming a fluid path according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a body configured with first and second fluid paths which communicate with each other, and a third fluid path which is provided at a position, at which the first and second fluid paths are connected to each other, and communicates with the first and second fluid paths, and includes one or more among a first ball which is able to be disposed in the first fluid path, a second ball which is able to be disposed in the second fluid path, and a third ball which is able to be disposed in the third fluid path, wherein a diameter of the first fluid path is greater than that of the second fluid path, and the second ball is able to be disposed in the second fluid path by passing the first fluid path.

A reusable, lockable, domed, hermetically sealing, flush-mount compression plug is locked with a removable rotatable locking compression key. Rotation of the compression key causes vertical compression and radial extension of the plug's sealing compression gasket causing pressure of the gasket against the inner walls of the opening preventing movement of the plug. Once the plug is locked in place, the key is removed making the plug un-lockable only to those who have the key and know how to remove the domed cap that is fitted onto the plug after the key is removed. Once the cap is in place, its flush mount design allows unimpeded placement of a man-hole cover. The dome shape of the cap assures that no moisture, liquids or foreign objects will collect on the surface of the cap. The plug has a “quad sealing assembly” comprised of four individual seals to provide hermetically sealing.
