HEAT EXCHANGER TUBE PLUG
A heat exchange plug that plugs the aperture of a tubesheet with a leaking tube while also securing the tube against movement that could damage other tubes of the tubesheet. A cylindrical housing member with two different diameter body section can be inserted so that the wider diameter section is positioned in the aperture of the tubesheet and the smaller diameter section is located in the tube. An eccentric ring at the end of the housing member can engage the tube and prevent rotation as an insert member is advanced into the rear of the housing member via a threaded shank of the insert member that engages a threaded inner bore of the housing member. A ramped surface of the housing member deforms the wall of the larger diameter section of the housing member outwardly to plug the aperture while the smaller diameter section secures the tube in place.
Sealing system
The present invention relates to a sealing system, its uses and method of use for forming a seal against a surface, and in particular for plugging and sealing an orifice such as a road or railway tunnel to prevent or minimise the dispersion of hazardous agent(s) in an emergency scenario. The system comprises a frame (200) which can be orientated against a surface (50) of an orifice, frame (10) comprising a perimeter outer surface (180) through which pliant elements (40) can extrude, via apertures (22), following the initiation of a means (30) for providing an overpressure.
Flow restriction system
A flow restriction system for restricting fluid flow through a pipe includes an anchor and an inflatable plug. The anchor includes an alignment body, a shield body, and a first fluid passage defined in the alignment body and the shield body. The shield body extends from the alignment body and has an upstream face and a downstream face. The downstream face is opposite the upstream face. The shield body is configured to block at least a portion of the fluid flow through the pipe. The inflatable plug is coupled to the downstream face of the shield body. The inflatable plug includes an interior chamber that is in fluid communication with the first fluid passage.
DRAINPIPE TEST PLUG WITH PRESSURE ASSISTED PLUG SEAL
A drainpipe test plug for plugging a drainpipe via an opening formed therein includes a plug seal that includes a planar front surface which faces upward in the drainpipe whenever the drainpipe test plug is in a plugging position and a peripheral annular rim. The plug seal can include a plurality of holes or a continuous channel formed into the surface of the planar front surface, or a plurality of holes or a continuous channel formed into the surface of the peripheral annular rim, or both. The plug seal holes or channels impart a degree of flexibility to a peripheral area of the plug seal to facilitate the insertion and removal of the drainpipe test plug from the drainpipe. In addition, the holes or channel in the planar front surface provide additional sealing force against the interior of the drainpipe whenever the drainpipe test plug is in the plugging position.
APPARATUS FOR SEALING A PIPE
A sealing device for sealing a free end of a generally tubular object, the sealing device comprising: a main body comprising either a sleeve which may, when the sealing device is engaged with the free end of a generally tubular object, surround the free end of the generally tubular object, or a protrusion which may, when the sealing device is engaged with the free end of the generally tubular object, be inserted into the interior of the free end of the generally tubular object; a grip arrangement which is connected to or supported by the main body, and positioned to be against or adjacent a surface of the generally tubular object when the sealing device is engaged with the free end of the generally tubular object, wherein the grip arrangement is radially moveable with respect to a central axis of the main body; and a grip drive arrangement operable to drive the grip arrangement radially with respect to the central axis of the main body, towards the surface of the generally tubular object.
CAP WITH LOCK RING TO SEAL SERVICE PORT WITH SPRING BIASED VALVE
A service port cap fits over the nipple (free end), annular flange and groove of a service port. An annular concavity (groove) in the interior wall of the cap receives the outwardly projecting annular flange of the service port. A resilient gasket disposed in the interior top of the cap is configured to plug the free end of the service port, when the cap is installed. Slots in the cap body define legs that can deflect outwardly and then return to an undeflected position when a deflecting force is removed. A locking ring, which includes an annular band that surrounds a portion of the cap body, is movable longitudinally between an unlocked position and a locked position in which the band surrounds and prevents outward deflection of the legs.
A COVER
A cover for a connector, wherein the cover is adapted to be locateable over at least a portion of the connector, and wherein the connector has a fluid pathway formed therethrough. The connector has a first portion and a second portion, and wherein, when the cover is located over the portion of the connector, ingress of impurities into the fluid pathway is prevented.
FLUID PLUG FOR STERILE PROCESSES AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A fluid plug for use with sterile processes such as the manufacture or production of pharmaceuticals and biologics is disclosed. The fluid plug is made of a material or materials that will tolerate sterilizing processes such as gamma irradiation. The fluid plug is used to selectively plug the ends of flexible polymer conduits that may be connected to fluids, reagents, or products used or generated as part of the manufacturing process. Also disclosed is the use of the plugs in combination with a series of valves in a block-and-bleed arrangement to enable the sterile transfer and connection of fluids, reagents, or products within a process flow.

Sealing Profile Protector
A sealing profile protector for a subsea hydrocarbon production or processing system component includes a body having an contact surface which is configured to engage a sealing profile on the component. When the sealing profile protector is installed, the contact surface displaces seawater from the sealing profile. In this manner, contaminants are inhibited from forming on the sealing surface after the sealing profile protector is installed.
