HYDRANT NOZZLE CAP SPACER
Example aspects of a nozzle cap spacer for a hydrant nozzle cap, a spaced nozzle cap assembly, and a method for adjusting a rotational indexing of a nozzle cap are disclosed. The nozzle cap spacer for a hydrant nozzle cap can comprise a spacer body defining an outer body edge; and a resilient first spacer spring arm extending from the outer body edge, wherein the first spacer spring arm is biased away from the spacer body in an extended orientation.
RETAINER NUT LOCKING APPARATUS AND METHODS
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to retainer nut locking apparatus and methods for fluid ends, and associated components thereof. In one implementation, a method of operating a fluid end includes installing a retainer nut assembly on a fluid end body by turning a retainer nut in an installation direction and into a bore formed in the fluid end body. The retainer nut has a first surface that faces away from the fluid end body and a second surface that faces that fluid end body. The method also includes rotating a locking tab in a locking direction and into contact with an inner surface of the fluid end body. The locking direction is opposite of the installation direction. The locking tab is disposed inside the bore and adjacent to the second surface of the retainer nut.
SYSTEM FOR SECURING A CASING AND A COVER OF A HOUSING ELEMENT
A housing element for food applications having a casing made of metallic material and a cover made of composite material and having a bottom surface which is closed or provided with a through-hole. The housing element is provided with a system for securing the cover on the casing, comprising at least two steps which are formed on the cover and which engage with interference inside at least two corresponding grooves formed on the casing.
Member linking mechanism and member linking method
A member linking mechanism, pairable with a gas chromatograph, which has a small and simple configuration, and is capable of linking two members together with a required fastening force even in a limited space. The member linking mechanism includes a first member having a member linking part with an opening at its distal-end surface; a second member to be linked to the member linking part of the first member; an elastic sealing member sandwiched between the first and second members so as to seal the opening of the distal-end surface of the member linking part; and a linking member for linking the first and second members together via pressure. The linking member includes: a linking member body configured to hold an end part, of the second member, adjacent to the first member; and an elastic deformation part provided to the linking member body.
Septic hose compressor system
A septic hose compressor is provided that is attachable to a conventional septic hose such as the hoses used in RVs. The system includes an air-tight second end cap that attaches to the second end of the septic hose. The first end cap attaches to the first end of the septic hose and includes a one-way valve or other flow restriction mechanism to allow for the removal of air from the interior of the septic hose to provide a compressed septic hose that is suitable for storage.
Waterproof quick coupler
A waterproof quick coupler which closes a port of a pressure vessel in an air-tight state during a water leakage inspection of a welding portion of the pressure vessel of a compressor. The quick coupler comprises: an outer body having an opening formed at a distal end portion thereof, an inner body flexibly disposed to be rotatable and linearly movable in the outer body; a cap coupled to the distal end portion of the outer body, and a fixing lever flexibly disposed between the inner body and the cap to clamp and unclamp a port of a pressure vessel when the inner body moves forward and backward, wherein the inner body may be locked in the outer body when moving backward, and may be unlocked from the outer body when the outer body rotates in one direction.
HYDRANT NOZZLE CAP
Example aspects of a nozzle cap for a fire hydrant and a method for manufacturing a nozzle cap to detect leaks in a fluid system are disclosed. The nozzle cap for a fire hydrant can comprise a cap body, the cap body comprising an inner housing and an outer housing, the outer housing defining a cavity; a vibration sensor received within the cavity and configured to detect leaks in a fluid system connected to the fire hydrant; and a metal insert contacting the vibration sensor and the inner housing.
Pressure testing systems with safety interlock
Pressure testing systems comprise a clamp assembly for clamping a device for testing with a test fluid, and a control assembly for controlling application of a clamp pressure to the device. The control assembly comprises a clamp control structure with an activated configuration and an inactivated configuration. In the activated configuration, the clamp control structure permits the clamp pressure to be applied to the device. In the inactivated configuration, the clamp control structure permits the clamp pressure to be released from the device. The control assembly also comprises a safety structure that is actuated by the test fluid between an interlocked configuration and a disengaged configuration. In the interlocked configuration, the safety structure physically prevents the clamp control structure from reconfiguring from the activated configuration to the inactivated configuration. In the disengaged configuration, the safety structure permits the clamp control structure to be reconfigured from the activated configuration to the inactivated configuration.
Hydrant nozzle cap spacer
A nozzle cap spacer for a hydrant nozzle cap includes a substantially planar spacer body defining an outer body edge; and a resilient spacer spring arm extending from the outer body edge at a proximal arm end, the spacer spring arm configurable in an extended orientation and a compressed orientation, the spacer spring arm biased to the extended orientation; wherein, in the extended orientation, the nozzle cap spacer defines a substantially oblong shape, and in the compressed orientation, the nozzle cap spacer defines a substantially circular shape.
