Hose Bib Lock With Keyless Removal Function
20230296199 · 2023-09-21 ·

A hose bib lock with keyless removal function (HBLKRF) that is placed on a hose bib or other threaded element to prevent unauthorized use of the hose bib or threaded element to release water or other fluid. The HBLKRF is comprised of three major elements: an outer member, an inner member and a main body into which a lock is inserted. The lock is operated by a key that is inserted into a key interface. The HBLKRF is designed to be free spinning when in place on a hose bib, and when secured onto a hose bib, the HBLKRF provides a block that prevents water from exiting the hose bib. The HBLKRF is an inventive improvement over previous similar locks/security devices by providing removal of the HBLKRF from a hose bib or other threaded element without the requirement/use of a key. This is accomplished by the use of a removal rod that is inserted into a bore on the main body. From the bore the removal rod continues into the inner member where the rod functions to operate the HBLKRF, which allows the HBLKRF to be removed from the hose bib. The HBLKRF is preferably cylindrical and made of metal, although other shapes and materials can also be utilized, and to increase security a removable cover can be used to hide the location of the bore on the main body. The HBLKRF is beneficial when a key is lost or otherwise unavailable, and is particularly needed in an emergency situation when a key is not available and access to water from a hose bib is immediately required.

Systems and devices for use in delivery of water to areas of land. The systems include quick coupling valves, quick coupling valve keys, and fluid delivery systems that utilize quick coupling valves and quick coupling valve keys.

PLUMBING FITTING

A push-to-connect fitting is provided. The push-to-connect fitting includes a connector body, a sealing member, a grab ring, a cartridge, a retainer sleeve, a plurality of latches, and an interference portion. The sealing member is configured to form a sealing engagement with a fluid conduit. The grab ring includes a plurality of teeth configured for coupling to the fluid conduit. The retainer sleeve is received over at least part of the cartridge and is received over at least part of the connector body. The plurality of latches are located on the retainer sleeve and are configured to secure the retainer sleeve to the connector body to facilitate retention of the sealing member, the grab ring, and the cartridge. The interference portion is configured to engage the retainer sleeve to substantially prevent rotation of the retainer sleeve relative to the connector body.

WATER PORT CLOSURE ASSEMBLY
20230323994 · 2023-10-12 ·

A closure assembly for a fluid port having a fluid flow channel defined along an axis, the channel ending in a port opening. The assembly includes: a closure cap extending in a first plane arranged to seat across, and close the port opening, in use, in a closed state, a guide arm extending from the cap in a second plane substantially perpendicular to the first plane; a lifting guide to accommodate and retain the guide arm for movement of the guide arm in the second plane as the cap moves axially away from the opening; and a pivot mechanism between the guide arm and the lifting guide about which the cap is able to pivot relative to the lifting guide to an open position.

PIPE REINFORCEMENT CAP FOR SEAT BELT

The present invention relates to a reinforcement cap for reinforcing durability of a pipe used in a seat belt, and more particularly, a reinforcement cap for preventing a pipe from being broken due to explosion of an explosion device stored in the pipe or preventing the explosion device fixed by pipe closing work from being discharged out of the pipe so that an explosive force of the explosion device is transferred to a place other than driving balls stored in the pipe, and a pipe reinforcement cap for a seat belt for preventing a malfunction of the seat belt.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING COMPONENTS OF A PLUMBING FITTING

A push-to-connect fitting is provided. The push-to-connect fitting includes a connector body, a sealing member, a grab ring, a cartridge, a retainer sleeve, a plurality of latches, and an interference portion. A method of mounting the retainer sleeve over a portion of the connector body is done simultaneously while pushing the plurality of latches located on the retainer sleeve to secure the retainer sleeve to the connector body.

TUBULAR CONNECTOR

A connector includes a connecting body with a fluid passage at least part way therethrough, and a seal is provided with an outer portion of a fluid tube. A cartridge proximate to the connecting body has a hollow portion therethrough. A grab part has at least one tooth to retain the fluid tube and is between the cartridge and the seal. A demount part within the hollow portion moves the teeth to allow release of the fluid tube. A latch is located on one of the connecting body or a sleeve covering at least part of the cartridge or the connecting body. A mating catch is located on the other of the sleeve or the connecting body, and engagement of the latch with the catch connects the sleeve to the connecting body and helps restrain cartridge movement.
