Method for pipe coupling encapsulation
A method for pipe coupling encapsulation includes placing two elastomeric partial rings around pipes on opposite sides of a leaking joint coupling, taking a repair coupling, which includes a band and opposing clamp members extending outwards from ends of the band, and placing the band around the leaking joint coupling such that opposite end portions of the band overlie the elastomeric partial rings, and tightening the opposing clamp members towards each other with one or more tightening elements.

Joint that Prevents a Water Pipe from Twisting
A joint for preventing a water pipe from twisting comprises a hanger screw sleeve, a disk-shaped oil seal, a gasket and a connecting pipe. The disk-shaped oil seal is sleeved on one end of the connecting pipe, and the water pipe is sleeved on the other end thereof. The gasket is disposed between the disk-shaped oil seal and the connecting pipe. The disk-shaped oil seal, the gasket and the connecting pipe are all arranged in the hanger screw sleeve. As the hanger screw sleeve screws into a water pipe base and presses onto the disk-shaped oil seal, the disk-shaped oil seal and the gasket also rotate together with the hanger screw sleeve. This prevents the water pipe connecting to the joint from twisting.

Encapsulation collar for pipelines
An apparatus and method for the containment of a portion of a pipeline is provided. The apparatus includes first and second parts, which when brought together form an interior cavity in which the said portion of the pipeline is located. The first and second parts have respective connection flanges that are held together under force to form a seal. First and second sealing members are also provided to be placed substantially around a circumference of the pipeline, the first and second sealing members being spaced apart along a longitudinal axis of the said pipeline portion.

PIPE COUPLING ENCAPSULATION ASSEMBLY
A pipe coupling encapsulation assembly includes an elastomeric ring including two elastomeric annular pipe interface portions that extend from two opposite axial ends of an elastomeric intermediate annular portion. The elastomeric annular pipe interface portions have a smaller annular radius than an annular radius of the elastomeric intermediate annular portion. Each of the elastomeric annular pipe interface portions and the elastomeric intermediate annular portion includes edges that face each other when the elastomeric ring is placed around a pipe. A repair coupling includes a band and opposing clamp members extending outwards from ends of the band, the elastomeric ring being radially inwards of the band.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ELIMINATION OF A LEAK IDENTIFIED IN AN EXPANSION JOINT OF A GAS PIPE IN OPERATION
The present invention relates to devices and methods for containing gas leaks in pipelines. In particular, the present invention describes a device for eliminating gas leaks by sealing a gas leak in an expansion joint arranged between two pipes misaligned with each other, the device comprising a metallic structure comprising a sealing blanket, in which the metallic structure and blanket fully enclose the expansion joint using cables. In addition, the present invention describes a gas leak elimination device for sealing a gas leak in an expansion joint arranged between two aligned pipes, the device comprising a sealing blanket, steel cables, straps and fastening elements to fully enclose the expansion joint.
Pipe repair process
A process to repair a pipe including the steps of preparing a pair of sleeve halves which together extend around a circumference of the pipe. Each of the pair of sleeve halves has a pair of opposed beveled edges and each of the pair of sleeve halves has a pair of opposed recessed grooves on an inner side of the sleeve halves. One of the pair of sleeve halves is installed around the pipe. A backing strip is inserted at each of the opposed recessed grooves of the one sleeve halve. Another of the sleeve halves is installed around the pipe so that the recessed grooves receive and retain the backing strips. The pair of sleeve halves are heated with at least one induction heating coil and then the pair of sleeve halves and the backing strips are welded together.
