ADJUSTABLE HANDS-FREE ELECTRONIC DEVICE HOLDING SYSTEM
An adjustable hands-free electronic device holding system includes a spring-loaded mounting clamp having a pair of clamp arms that function to engage a secondary object. An elongated flexible shaft is positioned between one of the clamp arms and a device cradle. The device cradle includes a main body section and a pair of arms for engaging and securing a portable electronic device to the cradle. The flexible elongated shaft includes a telescoping section having a fixed tube, an expanding rod and a tensioning ring. The telescoping section allows the length of the shaft and the distance between the clamp and cradle to be selectively increased or decreased. A rechargeable battery pack is secured along the clamp and supplies power to the portable electronic device stored within the cradle.
Portable computing device holster
A portable computing tablet holster comprising a handle assembly attached to a portable computing tablet retention assembly. The portable computing tablet retention assembly is adapted to retain a portable computing tablet therein using a pair of elongated retention channels extending along opposite elongated edges of a tablet rear support panel. The tablet is retained by a lateral retention channel extending along a lateral edge and at least one flexible retention element located proximate an opposite lateral edge thereof. The handle assembly can be rigidly fixed to the rear panel or moveably assembled to the rear panel. Movement between the handle and the rear panel can include a sliding movement, a rotating movement, and/or a pivoting movement. A user input device can be integrated into the handle for controlling at least one of a light and/or a camera integrated into the holster, the tablet, and the like.
Mobile device grip and stand
An extendable grip for a mobile device includes a base configured to couple with a mobile device or a case of the mobile device. The plurality of elastic elements are coupled with the base at a first end. The plurality of elastic elements are coupled with a top at a second end. The plurality of elastic elements are configured to provide an expansion force that biases the top away from the base towards a neutral position when in the collapsed position. The base and the top are configured to produce a magnetic force that biases the top and the base towards one another. The extendable grip has the neutral position and a collapsed position. A distance between the top and the base is greater in the neutral position than in the collapsed position. The magnetic force is stronger than the expansion force in the retracted position.
Tablet computer stand with near field coupling enhancement
A tablet stand is disclosed which incorporates a near field antenna configuration which couples to a near field antenna in the back of a tablet and provides a near field antenna coupling region for near field communication at the front of the tablet. The stand may be completely passive and use conductive antenna elements and passive resonance matching circuit elements to provide efficient coupling. In another aspect a thin profile passive keyboard adapted for use with a near field enabled tablet is provided. In another aspect a mounting bracket or holder, embedded antenna, and passive keyboard combination is provided adapted for converting a tablet into a notebook type configuration.
