Apparatus to enable a handicapped person to install and service a device adjacent a ceiling
An apparatus to enable people who are handicapped, especially those who are wheelchair bound, to be able to install and replace objects that are affixed near the ceiling. The apparatus includes a lower level affixed at a location within reach of a seated person and including a vertical height adjustment pole movably retained by plate at the lower level. A top plate retains a device which is positioned adjacent a ceiling. The top plate is affixed adjacent a top end of the vertical height adjustment pole. The vertical height adjustment pole is lowered to be in reach of the seated person to enable the seated person to work on the device retained on the top plate. After work on the device is completed, the vertical height adjustment pole is retained so that the top plate is adjacent a ceiling.
BLOCKING DEVICE CAMERA HOLDER WITH BLOCKING DEVICE
A blocking device is configured for blocking a dovetail plate that is flush-mounted in a track of the blocking device. The blocking device includes a base defining a side of the track and a clamping block arranged to be laterally displaceable on the base. The clamping block has a blocking side facing the track and a clamping side opposing the blocking side. A spacing between the blocking side and the clamping side varies in a direction parallel to the longitudinal extent of the track. The blocking device further includes a clamping lever that is rotatably arranged on the base and has a handpiece and an eccentric part. The eccentric part acts on the clamping side for displacing the clamping block.
Lighting device
A lamp (10) constructed as a hand lamp and for static use. The lamp includes a lamp housing (12), a light source in the lamp housing, a lamp mounting (14) for mounting the lamp in a desired position on a surface and a universal joint (24, 26) coupling the lamp housing and the mounting together, whereby the lamp housing is universally adjustable in attitude relative to the mounting.
PANORAMIC CAMERA MOUNT
A panoramic device includes a base member and a clamp member rotatably interconnected within a single plane of rotation with the base that includes a first rotatable knob to selectively inhibit the rotation of the clamp member with respect to the base. The upper surface includes a central region that is at a different elevation than another portion of the upper surface. The clamp includes a pair of opposed surfaces suitable to detachably secure a camera thereto. The one of the opposed surfaces is maintained in a fixed relationship with respect to the clamp member. The other one of the opposed surfaces is in a movable relationship with respect to the clamp member using a second rotatable knob. The first knob and the second knob are rotatably connected with respect to one another.
System and method for determining a fill status of a canister of fluid in a reduced pressure treatment system
A reduced pressure treatment system is provided that includes a canister that is fluidly connected to a tissue site and is configured to receive fluid drawn from the tissue site under the influence of a reduced pressure. A reduced pressure source provides the reduced pressure and is fluidly connected to the tissue site by a fluid communication path, which may include a source conduit, the canister, and a target conduit. A sensing device communicates with the source conduit and is configured to sense a pressure in the source conduit. A valve communicates with the source conduit and is configured to vent the reduced pressure. A processing unit communicates with the sensing device and the valve and is configured to open the valve for a selected amount of time, determine a decay of reduced pressure, and determine a fill status of the canister based on the decay of reduced pressure.
Suspension arm
An apparatus comprising an arm with a depending hollow attachment housing, into which is inserted a corresponding attachment portion of a depending device. The housing and attachment portion both have corresponding openings which come into alignment when the attachment portion is inserted into the housing. The apparatus comprises a securing segment which passes through the aligned openings in the housing and attachment portion to prevent the vertical separation of the housing and attachment portion, and a sleeve which surrounds the housing and is vertically moveable between a first position wherein it exposes the openings and securing segment and a second position wherein it covers the securing segment thereby preventing the securing segment from becoming dislodged. The housing comprises a removable delimiter which reduces the allowable vertical movement of the sleeve so that its vertical movement is restricted so as to prevent the sleeve adopting its first position.
TELESCOPING SUPPORT STAND APPARATUS
A telescoping support stand comprising handle mounted below a connection housing and a plurality of extendable legs pivotably engaged near the top of the connection housing.
BICYCLE ACCESSORY MOUNTING BRACKET
A bicycle accessory mounting bracket includes a first member, a second member and a plug member. The first member has a first connecting pillar with a first sliding slot. The second member has a second connecting pillar. The plug member is inserted into the first and second connecting pillars inserted into each other through the first sliding slot and the through hole of the second connecting pillar. The plug member includes a shell, an actuating member and two abutting members. The actuating member has a wide portion and a concave portion. In the first position, the wide portion is located between the penetration holes, and the abutting members are pushed by the wide portion to enter the perforation holes. When in the second position, the concave portion is located between the penetration holes, the abutting members enter the concave portion, and the first and second connecting pillars can rotate relatively.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A SYMMETRICAL LOCKING BRIDGE
Embodiments described herein relate to a studio bridge clamp comprised of a first element and a second element. Responsive to sliding the first element and the second element along a linear axis of the first element and the second element, the studio bridge clamp creates a clamping force at two locations.
MICROPHONE STAND ADJUSTING STRUCTURE
A microphone stand structure allows an upper frame rod to be elevated automatically for adjustment to a proper elevation after a locking seat is released. A pressure rod is received and mounted in a hollow main frame rod and includes an extensible member having a top end supporting a bottom end of the upper frame rod movably inserted into the hollow main frame rod such that the whole stand height can be selectively fixed simply locking the locking seat.
