20230408030 · 2023-12-21 ·

Disclosed are a corrugated plate having a smooth top surface and drawbeads, and a storage container. The corrugated plate includes a corrugated plate body, a longitudinal corrugation, a transverse corrugation, and an intersection portion. The intersection portion includes a smooth top surface and four drawbeads extending from the top surface to the corrugated plate body. The top surface transitions to the drawbeads smoothly. An overall extension direction of each of the drawbeads intersects a transverse direction, a longitudinal direction, and a height direction perpendicular to the corrugated plate body.

High-pressure gas storage container and method for producing high-pressure gas storage container

A high-pressure gas storage container includes a liner and a reinforcing layer. The liner houses a high-pressure gas. The reinforcing layer is formed by winding a plurality of strip-shaped reinforcing members around an outer perimeter surface of the liner. The reinforcing members are made of a plurality of reinforcing fibers that are impregnated with a resin. At least a portion of the reinforcing fibers is irradiated with plasma.

Provided are a method for producing a tank with an outer surface profile that allows an elastic protective member to be easily and firmly attached to a surface thereof, and also such a tank with a protective member. The method for producing the tank, which includes winding fiber bundles containing an uncured resin component in multiple layers around the outer surface of a liner in a first pitch width so as to form a fiber reinforced resin layer and securely bonding the protective member to a portion of the outer surface thereof, further includes: winding the fiber bundles in a second pitch width wider than the first pitch width so as to form a gap with a required width where no fiber bundle is present between adjacent fiber bundles in winding the fiber bundles to form an outermost fiber bundle layer; shaving off a tip end portion of a projection made of a resin that has cured after bleeding into the gap, with a portion thereof left unshaved so as to form a sharpened portion; and securely bonding the protective member to the sharpened portion while pressing it from above.

Honeycomb module and underground storage system

Individual honeycomb shaped modules used in an assembly for underground storage of storm water and other fluid storage needs. Modules are assembled into a resultant honeycomb shape for maximized structural strength and material use efficiency. Internal hexagonal or square shaped modules are assembled and encased by external hexagonal or square shaped modules. Internal adjacent modules are in direct fluid communications with one another through a channel-less chamber. Internal hexagonal or square shaped modules drain into external hexagonal or square shaped modules chamber where fluid is either stored or drained. Assemblies include various top and side pieces along with access ports for entry into said assembly.

Method for detecting a leak in a sealed and thermally insulating tank

The invention relates to a method for detection of a leak from a tank for liquid gas, said tank comprising a membrane surrounding the liquid gas, the membrane being surrounded by an insulation space which separates the membrane from a wall, the insulation space being filled an inert gas which is injected and extracted by at least one duct. The detection method comprises the following steps: determining 921 a first variation of mass of inert gas ?M1 between two moments by measuring the gas added and removed by the duct; calculating 922 a second variation of mass of inert gas ?M2 corresponding to a difference between two masses of inert gas measured in the insulation space; and comparing 931 the first variation with the second variation, and triggering an alarm if a difference E1 between the first variation and the second variation of mass of inert gas is greater than a first threshold S1.

PRESSURIZED GAS CONTAINMENT LINER, ASSOCIATED PRESSURIZED GAS TANK AND ASSOCIATED METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PRESSURIZED GAS CONTAINMENT LINER

A pressurized gas containment liner includes a first part comprising a first shell with a first peripheral edge, and a second part comprising a second shell with a second peripheral edge. A strip is superimposed on the first peripheral edge and on the second peripheral edge. The strip rigidly connects the first part and the second part to each other, and the first part, the second part, and the strip delimit an interior volume between them. The pressurized gas containment liner further includes at least one pillar passing through the interior volume and connecting the first and the second shells.
