METHOD FOR PRODUCING TANK WITH PROTECTIVE MEMBER
Provided are a method for producing a tank with an outer surface profile that allows an elastic protective member to be easily and firmly attached to a surface thereof, and also such a tank with a protective member. The method for producing the tank, which includes winding fiber bundles containing an uncured resin component in multiple layers around the outer surface of a liner in a first pitch width so as to form a fiber reinforced resin layer and securely bonding the protective member to a portion of the outer surface thereof, further includes: winding the fiber bundles in a second pitch width wider than the first pitch width so as to form a gap with a required width where no fiber bundle is present between adjacent fiber bundles in winding the fiber bundles to form an outermost fiber bundle layer; shaving off a tip end portion of a projection made of a resin that has cured after bleeding into the gap, with a portion thereof left unshaved so as to form a sharpened portion; and securely bonding the protective member to the sharpened portion while pressing it from above.
UNDERGROUND STORAGE SYSTEM WITH V SHAPED SUPPORT LEGS
Individual four-sided shaped modules used in an assembly for underground storage of storm water and other fluid storage needs. Modules are assembled into a resultant four-sided tiling shape for maximized structural strength and material use efficiency. Internal four-sided shaped modules are assembled and encased by external four-sided shaped modules. Internal adjacent modules are in direct fluid communications with one another through a channel-less chamber. Internal four-sided shaped modules drain into four-sided shaped modules chamber where fluid is either stored or drained. Assemblies include various top and side pieces along with access ports for entry into said assembly.
Expansion tank with a predictive sensor
An expansion tank which comprises a tank having a predetermined volume capacity; an expandable elastomeric bladder in the tank, partitioning tank volume into a liquid-containing portion for holding liquid and a gas-containing portion for holding a gas under a pressure that defines a normal pressurized gas volume when the liquid-containing portion holds a predetermined liquid volume; and a proximity sensor mounted to the tank at the gas-containing portion thereof and adapted to emit an alarm signal when volume of the gas-containing portion is reduced.
TESSELLATION SQUARE MODULE AND UNDERGROUND STORAGE SYSTEM
Individual square shaped modules used in an assembly for underground storage of storm water and other fluid storage needs. Modules are assembled into a resultant square tilling shape for maximized structural strength and material use efficiency. Internal square shaped modules are assembled and encased by external square shaped modules. Internal adjacent modules are in direct fluid communications with one another through a channel-less chamber. Internal square shaped modules drain into square shaped modules chamber where fluid is either stored or drained. Assemblies include various top and side pieces along with access ports for entry into said assembly.
Motor vehicle comprising a hard shell for protecting a fuel-carrying connecting element
A motor vehicle includes at least one pressure vessel for storing fuel, and at least one holder for holding the pressure vessel. When installed, the holder encloses one end of the pressure vessel. The holder has a hard shell and an inner layer, wherein at least regions of the inner layer, when installed, are arranged between the hard shell and the connecting element. The hard shell has a higher rigidity than the inner layer.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PRESSURE VESSEL
The invention relates to a method for producing a pressure vessel (1) for storing gaseous fuels, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising the steps of providing a support tube (2), providing a blocking tube (3) which has an outer diameter (31) which is smaller than an inner diameter (22) of the support tube (2), arranging the blocking tube (3) inside the support tube (2), and deforming the support tube (2) in such a way that an inner surface (22a) of the support tube (2) rests against an outer surface (31a) of the blocking tube (3), in order to produce a double tube (4).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMPRESSING AND STORING GAS
A compression system and method for compression of a gas having a temperature greater than an underground soil temperature within the earth is described. The system includes a gas compressing vessel arranged underground within the earth. The gas compressing vessel has thermally conductive walls with a circular cross-section of an inner side. An outer side of the walls is surrounded by a layer of a thermally conductive material, so as to maintain the compressed gas within the gas compressing vessel at a temperature of the soil during air compression and storage. The system also includes a water supply vessel arranged underground within the earth and a water pressurization system arranged on a pressurized water pipeline connecting the water supply vessel to the gas compressing vessel. The system also includes a water flow distributor arranged within the gas compressing vessel including at least one nozzle configured to direct a stream of the water pumped into the gas compressing vessel along the inner side of the thermally conductive in the direction where the inner side has the circular cross-section.
