Constrained power vending system
Disclosed is a vending system for supply of product from a plurality of containers each having a corresponding access door having an electrically activatable lock arrangement 200. The system has an interface module by which a predetermined maximum electrical power is made available for supply to the containers and lock arrangements such that each lock arrangement has a plurality of operational modes. The modes include: an active mode by which the lock arrangement is activatable in response to a vending instruction; a standby mode by which the lock arrangement awaits a vending instruction; and a sleep mode by which the lock arrangement minimises power drawn from the interface module. The interface module operates the lock arrangements in the standby mode and the interface module operates at least one lock arrangement in the sleep mode, and at least one lock arrangement in the active mode.
Multi-Function Three-Stage Pressure Regulator
An integrated pressure regulator is provided with three stages configured to reduce an extreme tank pressure down to a typical working pressure. The regulator is configured to supply a steady working pressure until the tank pressure is reduced to little more than the working pressure itself. Stages of the pressure regulator are integrated into a body and arranged to minimize regulator mass and volume. A thermally-triggered pressure relief device may be included with a triggering time adapted to enhance the safety of smaller cylinders that may be used, e.g., in aerial applications.
ADJUSTABLE CYLINDER BRACKET
A cylinder transport and mounting system is provided. This system includes a object mounting yoke, and at least one bracket selected from the group consisting of a conveyance mounting bracket, and user mounting bracket, wherein the cylinder mounting yoke is configured to attach securely to a cylinder and to detachably interface with the conveyance mounting bracket and/or to detachably interface with the user mounting bracket.
FUEL SYSTEM MOUNTABLE TO A VEHICLE FRAME
A fuel system is provided that includes a fuel system frame and in some cases access steps. The frame can be mounted to a vehicle frame rail. Bracket assemblies can be coupled to the fuel system frame at a plurality of positions. The fuel tank can be mounted at neck portions thereof and can be supported on the frame rail between the neck portion, e.g., spaced a distance from the neck portions in a longitudinal direction of the fuel system. The access steps can be non-rectangular to provide a wide stepping portion even if the fuel system includes large tanks. The steps can be directly supported by an outside surface of the tank.
TAP FOR PRESSURIZED FLUID
Tap for pressurised fluid, with or without integrated pressure regulator, including a body housing a fluid circuit having an upstream end to be connected to a pressurised fluid reservoir and a downstream end to be connected to a user device, the circuit including a valve for controlling the flow rate in the circuit, the valve being controlled by a lever pivotally mounted on the body of the tap between a first state rest position and a second state active position wherein, the outer surface of the tap comprises a groove and in that, in its first position, a first portion of the lever is housed in the groove and does not protrude or protrudes slightly with respect to the outer surface of the tap, while a second portion or the lever protrudes outside the groove.
SHROUD ASSEMBLY FOR A PORTABLE PRESSURIZED GAS CYLINDER
A portable gas cylinder assembly is disclosed which includes a gas cylinder having a central axis and a protective shroud configured to encase the gas cylinder and including opposed half-sections mechanically connected to one other along a vertical plane intersecting the central axis of the gas cylinder.
Integrated fill system and method
An integrated fill system is provided for a vehicle. The integrated fill system can include a receptacle, a cap that mates with the receptacle, and a fill line that is in fluid communication between the receptacle and a container. The integrated fill system can further include a valve between an opening on an end of the container and an end of the fill line to allow one-way fluid communication for entry of compressed material into the container. The integrated fill system can further include a draw line on an opposite end of the container to maintain separate lines for filling and drawing compressed material into/from the container.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, & METHOD FOR TEMPORARY LIQUID COMMODITY TRANSFER STATIONS
An apparatus, system, and method for temporary fluid commodity transfer stations. A fluid commodity transfer structure can include a base member, a casing, and a fluid commodity transfer system. The fluid commodity transfer system can be configured to dispense a commodity for transloading from opposite sides of the fluid commodity transfer structure. A modular fueling station system can include one or more receptacles operably coupled to a fluid commodity transfer structure to allow a fluid commodity transfer system to utilize each receptacle as a fuel reservoir. The fluid commodity transfer structure can be loaded onto an intermodal transport vehicle, unloaded at a location, deposited at the location, and be operably coupled with one or more receptacles and/or other fluid commodity transfer structures to provide fueling infrastructure for fleet vehicles or allow for the commercial transfer of fluid from one receptable to another as a mobile fluid transfer system.
Replaceable cartridge, cartridge system and method for connecting cartridges
A replaceable cartridge for storing a fluid includes a pressure vessel for holding the fluid; a connecting line extending from the pressure vessel to a first connection surface on an external side of the cartridge; and a valve system comprising a first shut-off member disposed in the connecting line; wherein the connecting line has a taper in a direction of the first connection surface.
