Cryogenic fluid storage tank and method for filling same
The invention relates to a tank for storing a cryogenic mixture of liquid and gas, comprising a first casing, a draw-off pipe for drawing off fluid, which has an upstream end connected to said first casing, a filling circuit comprising a first filling pipe with an upstream end to be connected to a fluid source and a downstream end connected to the lower portion of the first casing, said filling circuit comprising a second filling pipe connected to the fluid source and a downstream end connected to the upper portion of the first casing, wherein the upstream ends of said first and second filling pipes are designed to be connected to the same fluid source simultaneously, and a distribution valve assembly which is configured to allow distribution of the fluid in said filling pipes, wherein the tank comprises a sensor assembly which measures the pressure in the first casing, said distribution valve assembly being configured to automatically adjust the pressure in the first casing, during filling, to a predetermined pressure setpoint (Pc) by means of the automatic distribution of the flow rate of fluid from the source in the filling pipes, depending on the pressure setpoint (Pc) and the pressure measured by the sensor assembly.
Pressure Vessel Assembly and Pressure Vessel System
A pressure vessel arrangement includes a plurality of pressure vessels configured to store fuel, and a valve arrangement with at least one valve and a plurality of tank connectors. In the pressure vessel arrangement each pressure vessel of the plurality of pressure vessels is connected to one of the tank connectors. Further, in the pressure vessel arrangement the valve arrangement connects the tank connectors directly to one another and to the at least one valve, such that a fluid exchange which is not impaired at any time by way of a valve is brought about between the individual pressure vessels.

A closing element for selectively blocking an opening of a cryogenic storage container is disclosed. The closing element has a head assembly and a bottom member, at least one layer of insulating material disposed between the head assembly and the bottom member, at least one hole extending through the insulating material, and at least one member disposed in the at least one hole and extending through the insulating material. A diameter of the at least one hole is substantially equal to a diameter of the at least one member.
Fuel supply valve
A fuel supply valve for supplying fuel from a fuel tank to a fuel cell stack includes: a plunger having a hollow therein, a core part disposed on the plunger, and a block part disposed within the hollow to maintain airtightness between the core part and the plunger, and a space in which the airtightness of the hollow has been maintained by the plunger, the core part, and the block part is defined as a pressure chamber.
DEVICE FOR TRANSFERRING A FLUID FROM A SUPPLY TANK TO A RECEIVER TANK
A device for transferring a fluid from a supply tank to a receiver tank includes at least one duct for charging the receiver tank with liquid and at least one duct for return of the gas. The gas return duct is configured to transfer the gas contained in the receiver tank at a pressure close to or significantly different from the pressure of the supply tank.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPLYING ACETYLENE TO AN APPARATUS USING ACETYLENE
Disclosed in the present invention is a system and method for supplying acetylene to an apparatus using acetylene, the system having at least one acetylene storage apparatus and an acetylene content analysis apparatus. The system and method disclosed in the present invention can utilize the capacity of an acetylene cylinder to a higher degree; before the solvent impurity concentration in acetylene gas reaches a level where it is no longer suitable, a more accurate understanding of the usable acetylene amount in the acetylene storage apparatus can be gained through detection, thereby reducing the number of times that the acetylene storage apparatus is refilled and replaced, and lowering the user's total costs.

The present invention relates to a system (100) for supplying gas to at least one gas-consuming appliance (300) equipping a ship (70), the supply system (100) comprising at least: one gas supply line (123) for supplying gas to the at least one gas consuming appliance (300), said gas supply line being configured to be traversed by gas taken in the liquid state from a tank (200) and subjected to a pressure lower than a pressure of the gas in a headspace (201) of the tank (200), a first compression member (120) configured to compress the gas from the gas supply line (123) for supplying gas to the at least one gas-consuming appliance (300), a second compression member (130), characterised in that the first compression member (120) and the second compression member (130) alternately compress gas in the gaseous state from the gas supply line (123) and gas taken in the gaseous state from the headspace (201) of the tank (200).
VAPORIZOR
A vaporizer for vaporizing a liquefied gas includes a first heat exchanger block having first and second linear conduits extending therethrough, a second heat exchanger block having first and second linear conduits extending therethrough, one or more heaters located between the first and second heat exchanger blocks, and an inlet capacity control valve. The heat exchanger blocks may be fabricated by extruding aluminum. The heaters may be independently powered. At least a portion of the inlet capacity control valve may be located within one of the conduits.
FUEL CELL VEHICLE TO REFUEL ANOTHER VEHICLE
A system for a fuel cell vehicle includes a providing fuel cell fuel port, a fuel cell fuel storage tank, a fuel cell fuel flowmeter, and a pressure regulator. The fuel cell fuel storage tank is fluidically coupled to the providing fuel cell fuel port. The fuel cell fuel flowmeter is coupled between the fuel cell fuel port and the fuel cell fuel storage tank and is configured to measure flow of fuel cell fuel from the fuel cell fuel storage tank to the providing fuel cell fuel port. The pressure regulator is coupled between the fuel cell fuel flowmeter and the fuel cell fuel storage tank and is configured to control pressure of fuel cell fuel flowing from the fuel cell fuel storage tank to the providing fuel cell fuel port.
PIGTAIL HOSE WITH ELBOW FITTING
A pigtail hose is described for connecting a gas canister to a gas regulator. The pigtail hose includes a gas hose having an inlet end and an outlet end; and an elbow fitting connected to the inlet end of the gas hose. The elbow fitting has a bore which turns the gas supply through 90° at a convenient point of the gas supply assembly to assist with the connection of the canister in a confined storage space.
