In addition, the nozzle device may include a hydrophobic coating layer for inhibiting freezing.
Valve Actuating Device With Opening Reduced Speed
The invention is directed to a valve actuating device comprising a body with a bore and a bottom, an actuating element sealingly housed in the bore of the body and forming a first chamber with the body, a piston sealingly extending through a bore in the actuating element, the piston and bore delimiting a second actuating chamber, a passage for an auxiliary fluid between the first and second chambers so that a movement of the piston in the bore of the actuating member can increase the pressure in the first chamber and move the actuating element. The fluid passage comprises a restriction and a check-valve, both arranged in parallel, so as to limit the flow of the auxiliary fluid from the second chamber to the first chamber.
VALVE DEVICE FOR A GASEOUS MEDIUM, AND TANK DEVICE FOR STORING A GASEOUS MEDIUM
The invention relates to a valve device (100) for a gaseous medium, in particular hydrogen, comprising a valve housing (6) and a solenoid armature (14) which is arranged in the valve housing and can move along the longitudinal axis (18) and which interacts with a first sealing seat (32) in order to open and close an outlet opening (40). Furthermore, the valve housing (6) is equipped with a second solenoid armature (16) which can be moved along the longitudinal axis (18) and which is at least partly received in a recess (38) of the first solenoid armature (14), and the second solenoid armature (16) interacts with a second sealing seat (34) in order to open and close an outlet opening (20) formed in the first solenoid armature (14). The first solenoid armature (14) and the second solenoid armature (16) are additionally surrounded by a magnet device (11), by means of which the first solenoid armature (14) and the second solenoid armature (16) can be moved along the longitudinal axis (18) using precisely one solenoid (10).
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPTIMIZING THE FILLING, STORAGE AND DISPSENSING OF CARBON DIOXIDE FROM MULTIPLE CONTAINERS WITHOUT OVERPRESSURIZATION
This invention relates to a novel method and system for dispensing CO2 vapor without over pressurization. The system includes one or more liquid containers and one or more vapor containers. The system is designed to operate in a specific manner whereby a restricted amount of CO2 liquid is permitted into the vapor container through a restrictive pathway that is created and maintained by a shuttle valve during the filling operation so that equalization of container pressures is achieved, thereby allowing shuttle valve to reseat when filling has stopped. During use, a pressure differential device is designed to specifically isolate the vapor container from the liquid container so as to preferentially deplete liquid CO2 from the vapor container and avoid over pressurization of the system until the vapor container. The system is operated so that at least 50% of the CO2 product is dispensed from the vapor container. The system also includes novel control methodology for performing pre-fill integrity checks to ensure safety of subsequent dispensing of CO2 liquid from a source vessel to the onsite CO2 containers.
TANK DEVICE FOR STORING A GASEOUS MEDIUM
The invention relates to a tank device (1) for storing a gaseous medium, in particular hydrogen, comprising a valve device (2) and a tank (10). The valve device (2) comprises a valve housing (20) having a longitudinal axis, in which valve housing (20) an interior (7) is formed. An actuation valve element (18) movable along the longitudinal axis (11) is arranged in the interior (7), which actuation valve element (18) interacts with a valve seat (40) in order to open and close an outlet opening (31) and thus forms an actuation valve (44). The valve device (2) comprises a solenoid (14). Furthermore, the valve seat (40) is formed downstream on the valve housing (20) and at the outlet opening (31), and the cylindrical outlet opening (31) leads into a cylindrical passage channel (80), the diameter D of the passage channel (80) being greater than the diameter d of the outlet opening (31).
Method and system for optimizing the filling, storage and dispensing of carbon dioxide from multiple containers without overpressurization
This invention relates to a novel method and system for dispensing CO2 vapor without over pressurization from a system having multiple containers. During use, a pressure differential device is designed to specifically isolate the vapor container from the liquid container so as to preferentially deplete liquid CO2 from the vapor container and avoid over pressurization of the system until the vapor container becomes liquid dry. The system can be operated so that at least 50% of the CO2 vapor product is dispensed from the vapor container.
