METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING GAS IN A GAS STORAGE FACILITY FOR A GAS TANKER
The invention relates to a gas treatment method and system of a gas storage facility (2), in particular on board a ship, the method comprising the following stages: an extraction of a first gas (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b,) in the liquid state from a first tank (4) or first vessel (5; 500), a first subcooling of the first gas in the liquid state, and storage of the subcooled first gas in the liquid state in the lower part of the first tank (4) or of the first vessel (5; 500) or of a second tank or of a second vessel, so as to constitute a reserve layer of cold (4c, 5c, 500c) of the subcooled first gas in the liquid state at the bottom of the first or second tank (4) or of the first or second vessel (5; 500).
STATION AND METHOD FOR REFILLING PRESSURIZED GAS TANKS
A station and method for refilling a tank or tanks with pressurized gas in which liquefied gas is vaporized in a vaporizer. One portion of the vaporized gas is compressed to produce a compressed gas. Another portion of the vaporized gas is not compressed but instead is fed to a heat exchanger where it is used to cool the compressed gas. The thus-warmed gas is reinjected into a filling line that feeds the liquefied gas to the vaporizer.
Method of purging a dual purpose LNG/LIN storage tank
A method for loading liquefied nitrogen (LIN) into a cryogenic storage tank initially containing liquid natural gas (LNG) and a vapor space above the LNG. First and second nitrogen gas streams are provided. The first nitrogen stream has a lower temperature than the second nitrogen gas stream. While the LNG is offloaded from the storage tank, the first nitrogen gas stream is injected into the vapor space. The storage tank is then purged by injecting the second nitrogen gas stream into the storage tank to thereby reduce a natural gas content of the vapor space to less than 5 mol %. After purging the storage tank, the storage tank is loaded with LIN.
Vehicle and method for filling fuel gas
A vehicle including: a tank configured to be filled with fuel gas; a receptacle configured to be connected to a nozzle included in a fuel gas filling apparatus; a filling passage configured to provide communication between the receptacle and the tank; a heating unit configured to heat the receptacle; a determination unit configured to determine whether or not a parameter value, correlated with a filling speed of the fuel gas filled into the tank from the fuel gas filling apparatus, indicates decrease in the filling speed during filling of the fuel gas into the tank; and a control unit configured to, when the determination unit determines that the parameter value indicates decrease in the filling speed during filling of the fuel gas into the tank, to cause the heating unit to start heating of the receptacle during filling of the fuel gas into the tank.
LIQUEFIED FLUID SUPPLY SYSTEM AND LIQUEFIED FLUID-SPRAYING APPARATUS
A liquefied fluid supply system is a liquefied fluid supply system of supplying a nozzle with a liquefied fluid that vaporizes after spraying and includes: a supercooler that cools the liquefied fluid to a temperature lower than a saturation temperature thereof and makes the liquefied fluid into a supercooled liquid; and a booster that boosts in pressure the liquefied fluid made into the supercooled liquid by the supercooler and supplies the liquefied fluid to the nozzle.
METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING FAILURE OF FLOWMETER IN MEASURING MACHINE AND HYDROGEN FILLING DEVICE
According to one aspect of the present invention, a method for diagnosing a failure of a flowmeter in a measuring machine, includes calculating a filling amount at an end of filling of the hydrogen gas into a tank from the measuring machine by using a pressure, a temperature, and a volume of the tank; and determining whether or not the flowmeter fails by using a plurality of error values between a metering filling amount at the end of filling measured using the flowmeter and a calculated filling amount at the end of filling calculated using the pressure, the temperature, and the volume of the tank, the plurality of error values being based on a plurality of past performance data stored in a storage device, and an error value at the end of filling of the hydrogen gas at a present time, and outputting a result.
HYDROGEN GAS FILLING METHOD AND HYDROGEN GAS FILLING DEVICE
According to one aspect of the present invention, a hydrogen gas filling method includes receiving, from a vehicle equipped with a tank to be filled with hydrogen gas and powered by the hydrogen gas, a temperature of the tank before a start of filling; calculating a difference between a preset maximum temperature and the temperature of the tank; calculating a filling speed of the hydrogen gas depending on the difference; and filling the hydrogen gas from an accumulator in which the hydrogen gas is accumulated into the tank at the filling speed calculated via a measuring machine.
DEFUEL PRIORITY PANEL
Systems and methods are provided for a combined defuel and priority panel for a fueling station. The defuel and priority panel is configured to defuel a compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle and direct the defueled gas to fuel other CNG vehicles at the panel fueling and defueling site. The defuel and priority panel is also configured to store defueled gas in defuel storage tanks, which can then be used to later fuel CNG vehicles.
HYDROGEN FUEL FILLING SYSTEM AND HYDROGEN FUEL FILLING METHOD
According to one aspect of the present invention, a hydrogen fuel filling system includes a first flow passage through which hydrogen fuel supplied from a pressure accumulator that accumulates hydrogen fuel under pressure passes; a second flow passage through which hydrogen fuel supplied from the pressure accumulator passes, and which is arranged in parallel with the first flow passage; a switching valve that switches flow passages selectively from one of the first and second flow passages to another, or that switches flow passages between one and both of the first and second flow passages; and a control circuit that controls opening/closing of the switching valve, wherein a fuel cell vehicle using hydrogen fuel as a power source is filled with hydrogen fuel while switching the flow passages by the switching valve during supply from the pressure accumulator.
