CRYOGENIC STORAGE CONTAINER CLOSURE
A closure is configured for use with a portable cryogenic container or dewar, such as a dry vapor shipper (DVS). The closure has advanced insulating properties which enhances cryogen residence time and also minimizes negative effects on residence time when the dewar is placed on its side, such as during shipping. The closure includes a gas vent in the form of a fluid passage which is particularly sized to minimize thermal leakage and located away from the closure-to-neck interface. Embedded electronics can detect, record, and/or communicate information pertinent to a condition of the storage container in which the closure is installed
Pressurized fluid cylinder comprising an electronic data-display device
The invention concerns a pressurized fluid cylinder equipped with a valve accommodating a first draw-off circuit, the valve comprising a member for regulating the flow and/or the pressure of the fluid drawn off via a member for manually controlling the regulating member, the valve comprising an electronic device for displaying data concerning the amount of fluid contained in a cylinder which is connected to the valve, the electronic display device comprising a member for acquiring, storing, and processing data, and at least one data display connected to the data acquisition, storage and processing member.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MEASURING THE LEVEL OF LIQUID IN A CONTAINER
The invention relates to a filling level measuring device (10) for measuring the filling level in a container (2) through the wall (9) thereof by means of ultrasound, having an ultrasonic measuring head (12), a controller (20), and a fastening device (24) by means of which the filling level measuring device (10) can be fastened to the container (2) such that the ultrasonic measuring head (12) is pressed against the wall (9) of the container (2). The invention further relates to a method of operating such a filling level measuring device (10), wherein a sampling rate is used which is situation-dependent. The invention finally relates to an assembly made up of such a filling level measuring device and at least one spacer (50) which can be attached to the lower edge of a container (2) to be provided with the filling level measuring device (10).
Tank equipped with a wall having a specific zone through which passes a through-element
A sealed and thermally insulating tank intended for the storage of a fluid, the tank having a secondary insulating barrier having juxtaposed insulating panels; and a primary insulating barrier having insulating panels that are each arranged straddling at least four secondary insulating panels and anchored to the latter. The sealed tank is equipped with a through-element passing through a specific zone of the wall. In the specific zone of the wall, the longitudinal directions of the primary panels are perpendicular to the longitudinal directions of the secondary insulating panels. The through-element passes successively through an opening made in one of the secondary insulating panels and an opening made in one of the primary insulating panels.
LIQUID LEVEL GAUGE WITH INTEGRAL ELECTRONIC DISPLAY
An electronic liquid level gauge assembly includes an electronic display located in a housing connected to a tank. The display has first and second display portions for indicating liquid level condition. A first electronic sensor senses a change in magnetic field of a magnet associated with a liquid level transducer, with magnet rotation being proportional liquid level change. A processor determines a temperature-compensated liquid level condition by correlating the liquid level signal with temperature measurement of the liquid. A temperature-compensated vapor space can also be calculated based on tank information and properties of the liquid. Signals related to the temperature-compensated liquid level and vapor space are sent to the display and wirelessly transmitted to a smart phone or the like for remotely viewing the tank information. The smart phone also includes a special app for sending information, firmware updates, and display configuration data to the electronic gauge assembly.

In-tank valve
In a detector that constitutes an in-tank valve, an attachment part formed on one end thereof is arranged in facing relation to a connector of a drive unit, and arm members of a bracket, which is substantially U-shaped in cross section and is fixed to the connector, are inserted in and engaged with engagement holes of the attachment part. Thus, the detector is always retained firmly in a state of being pulled to the side of the drive unit by elastic forces of the bracket.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CALCULATING, IN REAL-TIME, THE DURATION OF AUTONOMY OF A NON-REFRIGERATED TANK CONTAINING LNG
This invention relates to a method and a system for calculating in real-time the duration of autonomy of a non-refrigerated tank containing natural gas comprising a liquefied natural gas (LNG) layer and a gaseous natural gas (GNG) layer. This invention also relates to a system for calculating, in real time, according to the method of the invention, the duration of autonomy of a non-refrigerated tank, as well as a vehicle comprising an NG tank and a system according to the invention.
Method and arrangement for waste cold recovery in a gas-fueled sea-going vessel
A fuel storage and distribution system for a gas-fueled sea-going vessel includes a tank room that constitutes a gastight space enclosing tank connections and valves associated with them. A part of a refrigeration or air conditioning circuit reaches into the tank room. A first local heat transfer circuit is configured to receive heat from the part of the refrigeration or air conditioning circuit in the tank room and arranged to transfer such received heat to liquefied gas fuel handled in the fuel storage and distribution system.
