The present disclosure provides systems and methods for storing, transporting, and using hydrogen. In some embodiments, the method may comprise (a) storing hydrogen fuel in one or more fuel storage modules; (b) transporting the one or more fuel storage modules to a vehicle fueling site, wherein one or more hydrogen fuel compatible vehicles are located at or near the vehicle fueling site; (c) loading the one or more fuel storage modules into the one or more hydrogen fuel compatible vehicles, wherein the one or more fuel storage modules are configured to be releasably coupled to the one or more hydrogen fuel compatible vehicles; and (d) decoupling the one or more fuel storage modules from the one or more hydrogen fuel compatible vehicles after the one or more fuel storage modules are depleted or partially depleted.

A hydrogen storage tank of a vehicle includes a housing defining an inlet/outlet opening, a control assembly extending into the housing through the opening and comprising a plurality of sensors, and a controller configured to receive signals from the plurality of sensors. The controller of the hydrogen storage tank is configured to, in response to a request for a handshake signal, initiate sending the handshake signal, and in response to the vehicle being started, initiate periodically sending data indicating parameter values received from the plurality of sensors.

A device for transferring a fluid from a supply tank to a receiver tank includes at least one duct for charging the receiver tank with liquid and at least one duct for return of the gas. The invention relates to a tank for storing a two-phase cryogenic mixture of liquid and gas, comprising a first casing, at least one drawing pipe, a tank filling circuit, the tank comprising a sensor assembly measuring the pressure in the first casing, the tank comprising a pipe for pressurizing the internal casing, comprising an upstream end connected to the lower end of the first casing and a downstream end connected to the upper part of the first casing, the pressurization line comprising at least one regulating valve and a heater, in particular a vaporization heat exchanger. The invention is characterized in that the regulating valve is configured to automatically maintain the pressure in the first casing at a minimum value by ensuring, when the pressure in the first casing is lower than said first value, a circulation of liquid taken from the first casing in the heater and a re-injection of said heated fluid into the first casing.

System and method for refueling a vehicle tank with liquefied petroleum (LP) gas
A vehicle has a fuel system that includes a controller that determines when the vehicle is in a refuel mode or a run mode based on a connection of a refuel nozzle to a vehicle connection of the vehicle. The controller controls a fuel pump input selector, a vehicle fuel pump, and a fill/run fuel selector such that fuel is pumped from a storage tank external to the vehicle into a vehicle fuel tank by way of the vehicle fuel pump in the refuel mode, and fuel is pumped to an engine of the vehicle from the vehicle fuel tank by way of the vehicle fuel pump in the run mode.
Cryogenic fluid dispensing system having a chilling reservoir
A system for dispensing a cryogenic fluid includes a bulk storage tank configured to contain a supply of the cryogenic fluid. A heat exchanger coil is positioned in the headspace of at least one intermediate fluid tank, which contains an intermediate fluid, and is configured to receive and warm a cryogenic fluid from the bulk storage tank via heat exchange with intermediate fluid vapor in the headspace. A buffer tank receives fluid from the heat exchanger coil. A chiller coil is positioned within the intermediate fluid tank and is submerged within intermediate fluid liquid contained within the at least one intermediate fluid tank. The chiller coil receives fluid from the buffer tank and cools it via heat exchange with intermediate fluid liquid within which the chiller coil is submerged for dispensing.
HYDROGEN FUELING CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD
A hydrogen fueling control device and method comprising step S100, obtaining initial parameters of a vehicle-mounted hydrogen reservoir, wherein the initial parameters comprise volume, initial hydrogen pressure, and initial ambient temperature of the vehicle-mounted hydrogen reservoir; step S200, computing a fueling rate and a target pressure for hydrogen fueling according to the initial parameters, wherein the computed fueling rate and target pressure cause the temperature of hydrogen during a hydrogen fueling process to be within a preset safe range; and step S300, controlling a hydrogen fueling station to fuel hydrogen to the vehicle-mounted hydrogen reservoir at the computed fueling rate to the computed target pressure. The control method controls a fueling process by obtaining a fueling rate and a target pressure by means of initial parameters of a vehicle-mounted hydrogen reservoir measured by a hydrogen fueling station, without requiring the real-time communication between the hydrogen fueling station and a vehicle.
