The device comprises an inlet adapted to receive fluid from a pressurized source, and an outlet adapted to connect to a pressure vessel. Between the inlet and the outlet there is a fill valve and a vent valve and at least one cam shaft configured to rotate and operate the valves.

PROCESS AND DEVICE FOR FILLING TANKS

A method for filling tanks with pressurized gas via a filling station comprising several storage containers and a fluid circuit for transferring the gas from the containers to the tanks, the circuit comprising a first end to which the containers are linked in parallel and a second end provided with a transfer line intended to be connected to the tank(s) to be filled, the circuit comprising, arranged in series between the first end and the second end, a first isolation valve, a flow or pressure regulation member, and a second isolation valve, the method comprising filling a first tank, characterized in that, on completion of the filling of the first tank and before filling a second tank, the first and second isolation valves are closed to trap a supply of pressurized gas in the circuit between said two valves and in that the supply of gas is used to refill at least one of the containers.

METHOD FOR FILLING TANKS WITH PRESSURIZED GAS

A method for filling tanks with pressurized gas via a filling station comprising at least one source of pressurized gas and a fluid circuit for transferring the gas, comprising a first end linked to the at least one gas source and a second end provided with a transfer line intended to be removably connected to the tanks to be filled, the circuit comprising a first isolation valve, a flow or pressure regulation member, a heat exchanger for cooling the gas transferred to the tank to be filled and a second isolation valve, the method comprising successively filling a first tank then a second separate tank, characterized in that, on completion of the filling of the first tank, the first and second isolation valves are closed to trap a reserve supply of pressurized gas in the circuit between said two valves and in that the reserve supply of gas is used to fill the second tank.

Floating ball filling-control device for cryogenic tank

Disclosed herein is a floating ball filling-control device for a cryogenic tank with enhanced structural stability. The floating ball filling-control device comprises a liquid feeding pipe (2) with a liquid discharging end disposed in the liquid storage tank (1), the liquid feeding pipe (2) having liquid spraying holes (3) located on the pipe wall at the top of the pipe, and a slide valve (4) arranged on the top end of the liquid feeding pipe, wherein the slide valve is in a sliding fit with the liquid feeding pipe in a vertical direction via a floating ball lever driving mechanism, and forms an open/close mechanism for the liquid spraying holes via a control mechanism.

GAS FILLING SYSTEM

A gas delivery system including: a feeder for feeding a gas to a tank; a pressure storage container unit which has a plurality of pressure storage containers, and sends out the gas to the feeder; a gas supply unit; and a controller. The controller implements a storing operation that a specified pressure storage among the plurality of pressure storage containers is supplied with the gas until a pressure of the specified pressure storage container reaches a reference pressure or greater, after finish of a delivery of the gas to one tank carrier, and a sending operation that the gas is sent out from another pressure storage container except the specified pressure storage container to the feeder, and then sent out from the specified pressure storage container to the feeder on a receipt of a shift indication from the feeder, at a delivery of the gas to a subsequent tank carrier.

A bayonet coupling system includes a bayonet, a bayonet coupler, and a seal. The bayonet includes a bayonet tube configured to enable the flow of hydrogen fuel therethrough, and a flange coupled to the bayonet tube. The seal is configured to surround the bayonet tube and contact the flange along one side of the flange. The bayonet coupler includes a bayonet coupler tube having an inside diameter larger than an outside diameter of the bayonet tube, the bayonet coupler tube configured to receive the bayonet tube and to seal against the flange at the seal. The bayonet coupler is fixedly mounted directly or indirectly to a hydrogen storage tank such that a longitudinal axis of the bayonet coupler is inclined a predetermined angle with respect to horizontal to prevent a substantial thermal gradient from forming at the seal.

Compressed gas capture and recovery system

A method and system for recycling permeated gas is disclosed. A container encapsulating a pressure vessel defines a containment volume. Gas permeating through the pressure vessel is captured in the containment volume. When a sensor detects a threshold level of permeated gas captured within the containment volume, a control module sends a command to open a purge valve. The open purge valve allows permeated gas captured within the containment volume to be supplied to an engine, a repressurization unit, or a secondary container.
