A high-pressure vessel includes a liner and a reinforcing layer. The reinforcing layer includes an inner reinforcing layer and an outer reinforcing layer. Further, the inner reinforcing layer includes a first covering portion, a third covering portion, and a second covering portion. Edge surfaces of the first covering portion and the third covering portion that face each other are in contact with each other. Edge surfaces of the third covering portion and the second covering portion that face each other are also in contact with each other. The outer reinforcing layer covers the outside of the first covering portion, the third covering portion, and the second covering portion.
AIR TANK ASSEMBLY
An air tank assembly disposed within a cab of a vehicle having a floor and a seat for a vehicle occupant comprises a platform mounted to the floor of the cab of the vehicle. A base of the seat is mounted to the platform opposite to the floor of the cab of the vehicle. A high-pressure container includes a liner and a fiber layer formed of reinforcing fibers wound around an outer periphery of the liner. The fiber layer has a plurality of hoop layers in which reinforcing fibers are wound in the circumferential direction of the liner to reinforce the body portion. The reinforcing fibers used for a first hoop layer from an inner peripheral side of the fiber layer or the first hoop layer and one or more hoop layers subsequent to the first hoop layer, among the plurality of hoop layers, have a structure in which a plurality of filaments are twisted so as to be inclined with respect to a fiber bundle direction, and have a property of more easily elongating than the reinforcing fibers used for the hoop layer that is located on an outer peripheral side of the fiber layer.

Manufacturing method for high-pressure tank
A manufacturing method for a high-pressure tank includes joining a cylindrical member and dome members to each other so that a first reinforcing layer and a second reinforcing layer to which a cap is attached are formed, and after a resin material is poured inside the first reinforcing layer, rotating the first reinforcing layer so that the resin material covers an inner surface of the first reinforcing layer, and solidifying the resin material so that the liner is formed. The cap is attached to the first reinforcing layer so that a recessed portion in which the resin material is collected is formed between the cap and the first reinforcing layer. After the first reinforcing layer is rotated, the resin material is solidified in a state where the cap side is positioned on a lower side.

Compressed natural gas vehicle safety system and method
A multiply-redundant system that prevents a driver from starting and/or moving a vehicle if a compressed natural gas fill system is not correctly and completely disconnected from the vehicle. One or more sensors in combination with one or more optional microswitches combine to lock-out the vehicle's ignition or otherwise prevent it from starting and/or moving. For different levels of safety, different combinations of sensors can be used with the lowest level having a single proximity sensor sensing the presence or absence of a high-pressure fill hose. The highest level of safety being achieved by having separate proximity sensors on the fuel fill hose fitting, the gas cap cover and a manual safety valve along with a redundant microswitch. An optional override that may be restricted as to the number of times it can be used can allow starting with a faulty sensor in order to allow maintenance.
