CRYOGENIC TANK
A cryogenic tank comprising an inner container for holding a cryogenic medium, and an outer container surrounding the inner container to define a vacuum space. A pocket extends at least from the vacuum space into an interior space of the inner container. One or more functional components are arranged in the pocket. The one or more functional components include one or more heat exchangers, valves, control components and/or tubes.
Pressure Vessel
The present disclosure provides a pressure vessel 10 (sometimes known as a composite overwrapped pressure vessel or “COPV”) comprising carbon fiber 20 (such as carbon fiber 20 filaments) wrapped around a tank liner 30.
Passive cryogen storage system
A passive insulating tank support structure includes a first interface ring mounted to a first tank, a first support ring surrounding and spaced apart from the first interface ring, a second interface ring mounted to a second tank, a plurality of first struts coupling the first and second interface rings, a plurality of second struts coupling the first support ring and second interface ring, a plurality of third struts coupling the first support ring and a first heat source, a third interface ring mounted to the second tank, and a plurality of fourth struts coupling the third interface ring and a second heat source.
Bulk metallic glass pressure vessels
A pressure vessel containing a main body with at least one opening. The pressure vessel is made from a BMG material. The pressure vessel may contain an additional part such as a neck, a liner, a rib, a lattice, a fin, and a diaphragm. The pressure vessel may be free of a welded joint in entirety. The pressure vessel may contain multiple parts in the main body, each of which is free of a welded joint. The pressure vessel may be made through thermoplastic forming.
Low-temperature tank and method for manufacturing same
A low-temperature tank includes a container main body. The container main body includes a metal liner forming a storage space and a wall member formed of carbon fiber reinforced plastic wound on an outer peripheral surface of the metal liner. The metal liner includes a bent portion that extends in two directions intersecting each other on a surface thereof and that is bent to project toward the storage space.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LIGHT-WEIGHT PRESSURE TANK AND LIGHT-WEIGHT PRESSURE TANK
A method for producing a light-weight pressure tank with a light-weight pressure container from a metal material, the light weight pressure container including at least one polar or equatorial attachment element and a container wall connected to the at least one polar or equatorial attachment element, wherein at least the container wall is formed integrally in one piece with the at least one polar or equatorial attachment element by additive manufacturing by a thermal spraying method by applying the metal material to a convex or concave mold surface of a cambered formwork mold by a spray jet through at least one spray nozzle.
STRUCTURAL JOINT OF TWO LOAD CARRYING WALLS OF A PRESSURIZED VESSEL
Disclosed herein is a structure that comprises a tank including an outer cylindrical surface and a domed end. The structure also comprises a tank skirt positioned circumferentially around the tank. A wall of the tank and a wall of the tank skirt form two sides of a y-joint between the tank and the tank skirt. The y-joint includes a wedge structure positioned between the tank and the tank skirt. Additionally, a thickness of at least one of the wall of the tank or the wall of the tank skirt forming the y-joint tapers such that the thickness of the at least one of the wall of the tank or the wall of the tank skirt that tapers has a greater thickness at the y-joint than away from the y-joint.
Set for dispensing liquefied gas
A set (10) for dispensing liquefied gas from a vessel (100) comprises a supporting structure (1), a pump (2) and a conditioning system (4). The supporting structure is designed for maintaining both the pump and the conditioning system inside the vessel when the set is in operation condition for dispensing a flow of liquefied gas. The set allows easy handling, simple fitting to the vessel and easy removal from the vessel because a main part of said set can be handled as a one-block element.

TANK AND METHOD
A tank for the storage of liquid or gaseous substances with a fiber-reinforced plastic sheathing, which limits at least one interior space for holding the materials to be stored. At least one circumferential section of the fiber-reinforced plastic sheathing comprises an evacuable sandwich structure, which completely encloses the circumferential section. As a result, the tank has a low weight with a high thermal insulation capacity. Furthermore, a reliable explosion protection of the tank is provided. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing a tank for the storage of liquid or gaseous substances is provided.
