LED DRIVING DEVICE WITH DETACHABLE SURGE PROTECTION
An LED driving device includes a converter module configured to receive an input voltage and generate an output voltage for driving a plurality of LEDs. A surge protection module is electrically connected to the converter module. A case holds the converter module and the surge protection module, and provides electrical coupling therebetween.
CEILING LIGHT LED RETROFIT KIT
A ceiling light LED retrofit kit is provided. The kit is configured for attachment to an existing, installed linear fluorescent tube lighting fixture. The kit includes a light panel, a first profile extending along a first longitudinal side of the existing fluorescent light fixture, and a second profile extending along a second longitudinal side of an existing light fixture. The retrofit kit light panel includes light emitting diodes. A raceway may be defined between the retrofit kit and the previously-installed fixture, in which wiring and other components may reside away from you.
LED-based replacement for fluorescent light source
A light source that is adapted to replace existing fluorescent tubes in an existing fluorescent light fixture is disclosed. The light source includes a plurality of LEDs mounted on a heat-dissipating structure, first and second plug adapters that mate with the florescent tube connectors of the fluorescent tube the light source is to replace, and a power adapter that converts power from a fluorescent tube ballast presented on the first and second plug adapters to DC power that powers the LEDs. The light source is powered from the output of the existing fluorescent ballast. The light source can utilize the existing metallic enclosure as a heat-radiating surface and/or direct air heat transfer from the surface of the heat-dissipating structure.

LED lamp
A tube that is at least partially optically transmissive. An LED mounted on a substrate is positioned in the tube and is operable to emit light through the tube when energized through an electrical path. Pins are in the electrical path. An electrical conductor electrically couples the pins to the electrical path, the electrical conductor is biased into engagement with an electrical contact on the substrate. The substrate may be secured to the tube by an adhesive. The substrate may be secured to the end caps and be suspended in the tube.
LED Lighting System
An LED control system is provided for connection to an LED lighting system via a power line to control the LED lighting system using commands formed by manipulation of frequency and amplitude of a signal transmitted over the power line. The signal may be for example a wave or a sequence of pulses. The signal may be provided in superposition with line power or the line power may be formed as the signal.
