System and Method for Covering a Fluorescent Ceiling Fixture with a Matrix of LED Lights
A system and method of converting a light fixture from a conventional light fixture to an LED light fixture. Originally, the light fixture has a troffer, a ballast unit, and bulb receptacles. The conversion is accomplished by mounting a panel over the face of the troffer that obscures the ballast unit and bulb receptacles. LED light strips are mounted to the panel. Likewise, an LED power supply is mounted to the panel. The panel is attached to the troffer with a hinge connection. In this manner, the panel can be rotated away from the troffer for easy access.
LED LIGHTING DEVICE WITH COMMUNICATIONS MODULE AND ANTENNA
A LED lighting device includes LEDs operable to emit light when powered through an electrical path. The LED lighting device includes a housing and a communications module for wireless communication to and from the LED lighting device. An antenna for receives and transmits a wireless signal where the antenna comprises a slot in the housing. A power supply in the electrical path for providing power to the LEDs may be retained in the housing. The communications module may be retained in the housing with the power supply. The housing may form part of the LED lighting device structure such as a reflector surface.

LED tube lamp
An LED tube lamp includes a tube having two ends, two end caps respectively at the two ends of the tube, a power supply module in one or both of the end caps, an LED light strip in the tube; and LED light sources on the LED light strip. Each of the end caps includes a lateral wall substantially coaxial with the tube and an end wall substantially perpendicular to an axial direction of the lateral wall. An axial direction of one or more openings of each of the end caps is substantially parallel with the axial direction of the lateral wall. The LED light sources are electrically connected to the power supply module via the LED light strip. The power supply module includes a fuse, and the fuse is positioned close to the end wall of the first end cap.
