HEAD-MOUNTABLE ILLUMINATORS WITH USER-SELECTABLE COLOR TEMPERATURE
An illuminator enables the selection of different color temperatures for different medical, dental or surgical procedures. A first circuit board is moveable with respect to the housing and a second circuit board is fixed within the housing. A plurality of LEDs are mounted on the first circuit board, which receives power from electrical contacts between the two boards. A user control enables a user to move the first circuit board between different positions, wherein, in each position, different LEDs or combinations of the LEDs emit light through the light-transmission window. Movement of the user control may cause the first circuit board to rotate or slide relative the second circuit board. The source of electrical power may be remote or integrated batteries. The rear portion of the housing may include a mount for attaching the illuminator to eyeglass frames, a headband, or other head-mounting apparatus.
Broad beam light
A light projecting apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus has a head with first and second light sources. There is a first reflector and a second reflector respectively disposed proximate to the first and second light sources. Each of the first and second reflectors has a concave reflective surface and a convex reflective surface configured to form light emitted by the respective light source into an illumination pattern having a central region having a substantially uniform distribution of luminous intensity and a taper region having a tapered luminous intensity.
Flashlight with multiple light sources
The present disclosure generally relates to lights and flashlights, and more specifically to a handheld flashlight which has at least two LED light sources and the ability to change between the light sources by twisting the head portion of the flashlight.
Work light
A work light includes a body, a light source head, and a battery. The body includes a mount surface for mounting the work light to a structure. The light source head is pivotably connected to the body. The light source head is opposite the mount surface of the body. The battery is removably coupled to the body. The battery includes a support surface. The support surface is disposed outside of the body. The support surface is oriented perpendicular to the mount surface.
Hand portable votive device having electric light emitting device
A votive device includes a grip; a lamp holder fixed to the grip and having a first electrical lamp holder contact and a second lamp holder electrical contact; a first device electrical contact and a second device electrical contact exposed to the outside surface of the grip and arranged at a predetermined mutual distance so as to be touched simultaneously by a user's hand when gripping said grip; a first electrical conductor directly connecting the first lamp holder electrical contact and the first device electrical contact, and a second electrical conductor directly connecting the second lamp holder electrical contact to the second device electrical contact.
Utility mount light
A utility light including a main body, a first light assembly coupled to the main body having a first light source disposed within a first light housing, and a second light assembly coupled to the main body having a second light source disposed within a second light housing. The first light housing and second light housing are both pivotable and rotatable relative to the main body. The utility light further includes a handle disposed above the first light assembly and the second light assembly. The handle includes a lower surface and an upper surface that collectively define a gripping portion. The utility light further includes a rechargeable battery supported by the main body and a power actuator disposed on the upper surface of the handle and capable of sending a signal to a processor to supply power to the first light assembly and the second light assembly.
Array with light emitting diodes and varying lens
The invention describes a light emitting diode array module comprising at least two light emitting diodes and a lens, wherein the lens comprises one common lens segment, wherein the common lens segment comprises a multitude of sections at least partly encompassing an axis perpendicular to the lens, wherein the sections shape an uneven surface of the lens, wherein the light emitting diodes are arranged to illuminate at least two non-overlapping target areas in a reference plane, and wherein the sections are arranged such that at least one light emitting diode illuminates one respective target area of the target areas. The invention further describes a flash light comprising at least one light emitting diode array module.
Multifunction flexible LED flashlight
A flashlight having a housing, a light-end assembly, and a user interface. The light-end assembly, which may be coupled to an end of the housing, may comprise a flexible light component having a proximal end and a distal end. A first plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) may be distributed on the first flexible light component between the proximal end and the distal end. The flexible light component may include a flexible, semi-rigid structure to maintain the flexible light component in a desired shape or position.
PHOTOVOLTAIC RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEM
A photovoltaic renewable energy system utilizes a light source and one or more reflectors to produce power via photovoltaic cells. An exemplary photovoltaic renewable energy system utilizes a light source, such as Light Emitting Diodes (LED), to provide light to photovoltaic cells that therein produce electrical power. The photovoltaic cells may be arranged in a photovoltaic array to ensure maximum power conversion from the incident light. A reflector, such as a prism may be used to direct light from the light source onto the photovoltaic cells. A cell reflector, which may also be a prism, may be configured proximal to the photovoltaic cell surfaces to reflect light onto the photovoltaic surface to increase power conversion.
Customizable light-up device
An apparatus that includes a housing containing a motor that is electrically connected to a power source. An enclosed motorized assembly is connected to the housing and contains secure points located in an outer surface thereof and LEDs therein. An object is affixed to the motorized assembly and contains insertion points. A slip ring is secured around a motor shaft of the motor and electrically connects to a first conductive plate that is secured within the housing. The first conductive plate is further electrically connected to the LEDs. A second conductive plate is electrically connected to the motor shaft and the LEDs. A plurality of extension elements include a first and second end, wherein the first end is secured to the secure points and the plurality of extension elements radiate or transmit light from the LEDs.
